You know that the DS has a web-browser too, right? I wouldn't say it's capabilities are near as good as the PSP's for surfing the web, but the option is available.

Really? I didnt know that. Cool. I still would take PSP over it anyday.

Its a great movie. If you havent read the book and know nothing of the story or even know what an "eragon" is.

It could have been really good, the potential was there. But no, they had to make it 99 minutes like every other movie. My God, the Lord of the Rings were 3 hours each and the books were like half as thick. Seriously, they did nothing with Eragons injury in the end. He gets no relationship with Murtagh, and the missed out on a whole frekin desert.

The only part of the movie that I really liked was when Brom died, I thought they did that very well, especially whith his tomb making. Great part, I almost cried.

As a PSP owner, I have to say that I would not trade this for a DS for the world. Not only does the PSP have way better graphics in my opinion, but the games that are good, are goood. Sure the selection isnt great, but Ive got 5 or 6 games for it that I could play for hours and hours with no end.

The media was also a great pull for me. The movies are great on the LCD screen, which by the way, is much larger than the DS's. The only thing that I dont like about the media playback is that the sound doesnt get loud enough, but that may just be my drummer ears not working well. The web browser is nice too. Although the connection sucks at times, the fact that you can get on the internet on a hand held gaming device is awesome.

To me, the PSP looks sexier. It is a nice sleek black that is thin so it fits well into pockets. It feels exactly like a PS2 controller, which is nice so you dont have to adjust the feel of the game. The lack of a second analog stick is alright, becuase you dont need another one. And yea, the battery life isnt as long as I would like it to be most of the time.

    Definately PSP over DS anyday.

Wow, thats a lot of money stashed away in some books.

Probably my best magic "find" was at my first prerelease. The organizers had this box with a mox (any one, even chrome mox) and a black lotus in it and filled it full of crap rares. For 5 bucks you got two pulls (totaling 4 rares). On my second pull, I pulled out a protector that said "mox" on it. Without even seeing which mox it was, the guy that was supervising it offered me 200 for it. Needless to say I walked away that day 200 dollars richer.

You could ask for something that you will use for a long time, like tools, or a laptop. Clothes are always an option too.

that two hit policy is the same at my school but you have to stop once they are on the ground or unconcious.

Lol, god forbid they go unconcious before they hit the ground. I find if funny that as long as they are conscious you can beat them though, on the ground or not.

That sucks, totaly unfair. Whats really bad in my opinion is that your priciple didnt believe you even after you told him quite a few times what happened. Maybe hes just prejeduced or stereotyping you.

The policy at my school is if you get hit twice, then you can beat the crap out of the other person as much as you want and call it self defence and get almost no punishment. Either way though, you are bound to be tackled by a cop.

I dont have a real "true" best friend. I have a lot of really good friends, but not a single, flat out, total best friend.

Hmm, I was born Methodist, and confirmed Methodist, and consider myself Methodist still. I Believe in God and all, but I dont believe that Jesus was the son of God, I believe that Jesus was just another prophet. So I guess I kind of have muslim views? I cant really say that for sure, since I havent studied that religion. But from what I do know, i agree with pretty much everything they believe. If you ever ask me what religion I am, I will tell you christian though.

I think its incredible sad that we arn't required to learn a second language in US schools. A second language is important in our new 'global economy' (I feel so dirty now.) but it gives important cultural insights. Living in cultural bubbles is oh so very bad.

So true, I couldnt agree more with that statement. Also, not only are the courses offered declining, but you dont even have to take a language to graduate, you only need it for the highest diploma (out of three available).

I believe the spelling is gaelic.

A single unifying language? Sounds good on paper, but I dont think that people would just so easily give up their history and culture just becaues some guys in suits tell them to. Besides, with as many people in this world as there are, how would the language be taught? who would teach it? How would we make sure that everyone learned it. Some, who wouldnt be able to afford or didnt have acess to this new language would be looked down uppon as dumb and different. It would actually divide the world. Then there would be the rebels that see it as "the man" trying to take over the world, which is what very well could happen. so in short:

    1 language = bad
a couple of languages = better
how it is now = bestest.

Edit: I also seem to recall that something like this has been tried before, to no avail. Such as esperanto, which does have some speakers true, but nothing on a worldy scale where everyone speaks it, and a musical laguage that I forget the name of.

Kind of ironic isnt it? The world is learning American (english if you will), but america is learning spanish.

I think it is a good thing that people can understand each other when in a foreign place, but that standard of knowledge needs to go both ways. I think it is unfair for a lot of countries making english mandatory, but the U.S. isnt offering very many foreign language classes until the high school/college level, and even then, especially, your choices are limited. Most of the time the major languages being taken are French and Spanish, with a little bit of German and Chinese thrown in.

If I were in charge of the foreign languages offered in high schools, I would make it a major asian language and a major european language, with others in there as well. That means something like German or French, and Japanese or Chinese, with spanish(for mexico) and possibly some african language.

    yep, just my 3.5 cents.

I have been trying to find a good place for Proclimation of Rebirth lately, and I think I have found it. The point of the deck is to just play as many one drops as you can as fast as you can. Who cares if they wrath your board? Just bring them back. Enjoy.

I dont have a sideboard as of yet, so If you have any suggestions that would be nice. I havent really tested it much, but from what I have done it has performed extremely well. The reason for Wheel of Fate, is that I usually go into topdeck mode around turns 4-5, and a refresh of my hand, while possibly destroying theirs at the same time is great. Demonfire and [Greater Gargadon[/card] were just ones that I threw in because I had some extra room.

The deck has great synergy because most of the cards have a COP effect that is nice to repeat with the Rebirth. Lighning Serpent is some great tech, as even though he only last one turn, he can be brought back many times to hurt the opponent for 2 at least.
