I have a friend who has foil delvers. He uses checklist cards in the deck, and puts the actual Delvers in lucite cases like this one. It is pretty hilarious because they take up 4 times as much table space as a normal one, and when they flip they Thump on the table.
That seems excessive for a $30 card.
You're missing the point.
Just use some clear penny sleeves or toploaders and put real non-foils in the deck.
Foils wear very quickly. SP foils are even allowed to have face wear its so common.
I think slivers are more like insects with that hive mind and all. So unless ants or bees have sparks, I'd guess no, they cannot become planeswalkers.
Karn has Glacian's/ Urza's spark.
Karn, Urza's head, Gerrard and the legacy weapon artifacts (which included a plane shifting warp drive) were all fused together when they killed Yawgmoth.
He then later lost it when he turned into a Phyrexian and got it back when Venser teleported his heart into him (wtf?).
Xantcha was a phyrexian sleeper agent Urza rescued. Her Heartstone was used in Karn's creation. Its the reason he has a personality and consciousness.
Ob axtually has a bigger backstory than most characters. I know there are a couple Uncharted Realms stories about Ob.
Looking at our own wiki it appears the chain veil Liliana currently has is what turned him into a demon.
Ob Nixilis was a human warlord and tyrant who became a planeswalker when he discovered that he was manipulated by demons to be the sole survivor of a world that only knew war. Once he had discovered how to planeswalk, he decided to take over other worlds. To that, he got his hands on the Chain Veil but it unexpectedly turned him into a Demon.
Deamons however seem to be living beings transformed by high levels of power and corruption. Raksasha for example are a full fledged demon race, as is what ever race Tibalt is. But beings like Leshrac and Ob nix were converted from one living race to full fledged demon.
What? This is all wrong. Did you just make this all up?
The only demons in magic history that haven't been black mana manifestations were the Theros ones.
Tibalt is a human planewalker who was merged with Innistrad devils. Hes not a demon or part of a demon race.
Leshrac was a planeswalker. He was never a demon or ever claimed to be.
Ob was a planeswalker as well who got trapped in a form he was using at the time by Zendikars crazy environment. He could have been trapped in any form. A turtle, goblin or even angel.
Have you considered Trickbind? It's a great answer that's hard to answer.
I didn't think about it. I was running Voidslime since its not so narrow. Is there room for 2 stifle effects? The hardest part is deciding what to take out!
Well, I'm trying to hate out graveyards rather than utilize them, since EDH uses the graveyard as a resource so damn much. I'm not running anything that positively interacts with them so Mimeoplasm and Tasigur are out.
I already have Drana as my control deck and I don't want people thinking this is a Damia control deck right off the bat. Her draw power is in the 99 though.
Vorosh just seemed the least threatening to other people and offers a fairly cheap and possibly huge threat later on. This is meant to be a "get to know the people and environment" deck.
I've been out of the game for over a year (since Born of the Gods came out) and I'm getting the itch again...
I lost my old playgroup and I'm getting desperate enough to check out my LGS scene. I'm taking apart my Mimeoplasm combo deck since I'm sure everyone is more than tired of seeing this guy and I don't want to look like a cutthroat ******** right off the bat.
My idea is to go with a vague "answer anything" deck. All my other EDH decks are VERY centered on the General and I want to make this a bit more relaxed. Vorosh can make a nice finisher and I've never had a dragon General before, so why not?
Here's my rough list.
Any good utility cards I've missed out on? I just want to be the guy to stop the combo or kill the infinite creature token hoard.
twitch, will you post your decklist? I'm curious what we're dealing with there.
Its nice you found someone to challenge you. If a rules question pops up just use the power of the internet to prove your point.
EDH or Commander is a great multiplayer format. The randomness of a single card format can certainly level the playing field. It will also force them to play 100 card decks. The games are a bit slower so your friends can play the big powerful spells they seem to like.
3 of the same trash rare out of 9 packs!! I'm a kinda pissed.
Skaab Ruinator was $20 to start and went nowhere fast.
I was disappointed to find all my Ravenous Baloths were worthless when coming back to magic.
Lightning Angel was worth quite a bit back in the day.
Savannah Lions were pricey and worthless now.
Vampire Nocturnus was going over $20 a few years ago.
Shadowmage Infiltrator is worth pennies now.
You're missing the point.

Infernal Darkness
This is a game ender. Just lock your non-black opponents out of the game and do whatever you want to them.
Lethal Vapors
I run a lot less creatures and more sweepers than your list so I don't mind sweeping the board and letting the swamps pile up.
Spreading Plague
Ohhh man, people hate this card. It's multiple sweepers that you only pay mana for once. Slow the creature game down a lot.
I think you need more mass removal. Barter in Blood and Crux of Fate are cheap.
Thawing Glaciers can be found for 4 bucks. It makes sure you never miss a land drop for your coffers.
What about a Phyrexia's Core to make that Spine of Ish Sah reusable?
I've been playing Drana MBC for over 4 years and tinkering to make it better the whole time. The link to my list is in my sig if you're curious.

Read 'The Thran' novel first. You'll get a feel of the character and his appearance from there.

Feldon didn't know it then but his true love is actually Wurmcoil Engine.
