1st turn - island crab
2nd turn - crab fetch mill top 12 crab
3rd turn - fetch mill top 18 harrow mill top 18 explore into another land mill top 9 or 18 if fetch
the only thing is that you cant use fetch lands...remember no nonbasics
Also, Scare Tactics as a nice alternative to the Bushwacker.
if you dare, Hecatomb as alternative win-con...
thanks for the land suggestions! as for the bushwhacker, i need him for the haste in addition to the boost...i wanna swing and kill right after the ad nauseam
No one even commented on my turbofrog decklist, I feel it's very good and once fine-tuned, it can be a monster.
Anyway! I feel like MTGS and Wizards should acknowledge this. At least give it it's own sub-forum. Me and Winterspring could write primers and stuff. Yeah.
its pretty cool...personally im more of a fan of gw turbofog...then you can run blessed reversal
I was messing around the other day and came up with a pretty fun combo...im sure im not the first one to think of this and i know my list probably could be better but its just for lols in 1v1 w my friends. heres the list:
The idea is to ad nauseam at the end of turn three, sac some land for extra life, fill my hand with a bunch of 0 cmc critters with some pests and bushwhackers, and then play them all with a kicked bushwhacker for the win. Any thoughts or suggestions? Has this been done before?
And, as I said, pairing it with Berserk isn't terrible either
haha its one of the best feelings in the world...its why we do this
so i went to that little tourney agaian w some deck changes and did alot better...still lost due to a bad draw but it was still fun. I took out the ornithopters for skyshroud ridgebacks and took out a regular forest for a strip mine which is great w an orb on the field. I also added a skullclamp so I was running an unpowered vintage version. There was only one deck there that could keep up w me and that was a goblin deck. For our round it came down to one draw and all i needed was any pump...of course w my luck i got my third land grant haha. I looked at the next card...giant growth of course
Pit-Skulk is outstanding. His best friend of course being Rancor.
Just more and more subtle synergies lol
haha i know...a match I won I had a rancor on him, gave a might of old krosa, payed 2 life for a mutagenic growth, and then played a berserk
@kirbysdl: I run the orb as it can help the deck last longer if it has to come to that. sometimes an early attack is ruined and the orb will slow them down allowing you to put more pressure
i think the only time it wouldnt be useful is if you and your opponent have creatures with the same cmc
library and the orb just give that extra bit of help late game when its needed
haha it will pretty much end the game
still could be fun though...maybe run fastbond to help
the only thing is that you cant use fetch lands...remember no nonbasics
it has to have some potential...with multiple crabs that would hurt real fast
thanks for the land suggestions! as for the bushwhacker, i need him for the haste in addition to the boost...i wanna swing and kill right after the ad nauseam
haha out of my price range right now but thats awesome!
its pretty cool...personally im more of a fan of gw turbofog...then you can run blessed reversal
exactly...its very fragile but its only for casual play so its pretty fun

I feel ya...as far as offensive creatures go, I have a huge love for the pit-skulk
yeah i still love to watch peoples faces when I produce 4 mana with a winter orb out (thank you quirion and llanowar!)
