I am also seeing Satyr Firedancer and Eidolon of the Great Revel getting maindecked recently. All of the versions seem to be doing well. Odd to see so many differences in deck lists lately.
Another version maindecking Toil/Trouble as well.
Does anyone have any experience with these changes?
If you look at the price graphs on Fetches, the blue ones actually went *up* upon rotation, whereas the non-blue ones dropped <$1 and had made that up and then some within a month or two. I actually don't play Modern, but I would expect a similar trend.
As for those claiming that RTR was the most opened set in history, remember that Zendikar also shattered all records when it came out.
It is hard to compare the fetches with shocks though as the fetches were not printed before. Shocks were printed already and then printed again in a heavily opened set.
Thanks, yep, I'm a newbie here
One more question, you removed Firedrinker Satyr from the main, and I thought it's one of the main offensives, which lets you burn opponent in the face while removing his creatures at the same time... And if not, most of your burn will be wasted on creatures, no? How does the process usually go?
Sorry for bothering, but I'm new here, and I really like this type of decks.
Just base it on your meta. I think you meant Satyr Firedancer. Satyr Firedancer can be completely useless against certain decks without creatures, while Young Pyromancer would still be a threat.
Personally, I play against a lot of creature decks, so Satyr Firedancer is main deck for me.
I have my own speculation: Most planeswalkers that were in Zendikar are getting cards/reprints. So my theory is that we will get a new Nissa (probably playable and BG) in a random next new block, and then we will return to Zendikar with AT LEAST Nissa, Jace and some other planeswalker.
A new Nissa certainly makes sense when they are making one of the figurines in her likeness.
Brimaz, coursers etc etc...sometimes satyr and boros charm ain't there. I strongly disagree on YP and Chandra being bad and simple tap and burn doesn't last long vs quite a few decks. I think I prefer a little more gas :/
I played this deck last night and it was a blast. I finished 3-1-1, losing to green monsters because Kalonian Hydra, drawing with WU Control and beating UB Mill, Bant Midrange and GW Aggro/Midrange. Highlights:
Against WU Control, Game 2, up a game, hitting AEtherling with Pithing Needle and watching my opponent forget to attack with it all game, which made game 2 take so long that we went to time in Game 3.
I had a lot of fun playing the deck and only ever felt I was out of the game in that second game against Control (but was perfectly satisfied with letting it drag on). Still haven't tested it against Mono-Blue or Mono-Black, though.
You used to be able to find user threads with the trading tools that want certain cards and/or have certain cards. Is there a way to do that currently?
I see you can do it for one card with Cards you have. Is there a way to have multiples with Haves/Wants like before?
We are doing away with the Sales and Trade Forums soon so the way you did it was just fine. You have a Sales Thread in the Trading Post and when you go there you can filter by trades or sales. If others can create new threads in the old Sales Forum, that's a permissions isa and not a matter of fair or not fair. Nobody should be able to.
Another version maindecking Toil/Trouble as well.

Hey! I've enjoyed the content so far and am now rocking a similar version to one of your latest builds.
Thanks!
Nice videos! I didn't have time yet to watch more than the first so far.
How do you feel about the changes you made to the deck? Did Ash Zealot live up to your expectations?

Chained to the Rocks is a thing.
What to take out and add for which match-ups, etc...
Did you run your RW list?

Ok, thanks for the reply.
