Here is a nice budget deck. This list is original (so far) except I replaced Izzet Guildgates with Steam Vents. If you remove Steam Vents, this is an extremely budget friendly deck.
I dont think there is a problem With Renegade Krasis. I just wanted to try Nemesis. A 10/10 for 4 greens seemed awfully tempting. Lol at 7 creatures in our yard.
I haven't ended up with too many creatures in my graveyard during my current solo tests. Would you be interested in trying out my deck as is?
Are you sure? This seems pretty convincing from the article:
"Experiment One is the next-best 1-drop we have access to at the moment. It will grow along with your other creatures, and with Arbor Colossus at the top end, it can become quite large. Usually, it will end up at around 3/3 or 4/4, but even that is pretty enormous for a 1-drop. The one downside is that it doesn't play nice with Reverent Hunter. Since the Hunter doesn't enter the battlefield with the counters already on it, it won't trigger evolve."
After reading the card, it does seem that it gets the counters after already entering the battlefield.
Wow! That list in that article is very close to mine! One thing that popped out to me from the article is that I was misreading Reverent Hunter a bit. I was accounting for it triggering Evolve on my creatures.
Renegade Krasis now becomes a worse card in my opinion for this deck. I think I will replace them with Boon Satyr or Witchstalker, depending on what I am able to acquire.
Bow of Nylea is in there for hopefully some evasion by granting deathtouch to attackers. It is basically my substitution for Nylea, God of the Hunt. I am considering replacing with Crowned Ceratok instead to help my finishers get through.
@post-itman: I tried play testing with and without Shock and really wanted to have them when facing early aggressive decks. There are a lot of times where I want to play a Young Pyromancer with 3 lands and do not because I have a 2 mana removal in hand. If I had the Shock, I could play the Young Pyromancer and still interact with attackers.
If your meta is a lot of mono-red, you should probably main deck Shocks. If you will be facing larger creatures, then Turn/Burn would be better main or even Mizzium Mortars.
I noticed a big change in the performance of this deck when I slowed down a bit and didn't try to cast my creatures asap. Definitely an interesting deck as there are so many changes that can be made based on meta. Making skilled decisions definitely can make/break it.

4x Armed / Dangerous
3x Mizzium Mortars
4x Mugging
3x Teleportal
3x Cyclonic Rift
4x Izzet Charm
4x Quicken
Creature (12)
4x Guttersnipe
4x Nivix Cyclops
4x Spellheart Chimera
8x Island
11x Mountain
4x Steam Vents
I would like to open up a discussion on how this deck can be improved and odds of it doing well with the current meta.
Perhaps we can come up with a sideboard also! This is what I currently have:
4x Dispel
1x Disperse
1x Hidden Strings
1x Mizzium Mortars
4x Mizzium Skin
3x Rapid Hybridization
1x Teleportal

What was your reasoning for using Hunt the Weak instead of Pit Fight or even Time to Feed? Curious.
I've had some fun doing combat tricks with Pit Fight when attacking with a Bow of Nylea on the battlefield.
3x Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch
3x Hellhole Flailer
4x Mogis's Marauder
4x Rakdos Cackler
4x Rakdos Shred-Freak
4x Spike Jester
3x Thrill-Kill Assassin
4x Tormented Hero
4x Blood Crypt
8x Mountain
11x Swamp
Instant (4)
4x Magma Jet
4x Madcap Skills
If you take out the Blood Crypts, it is a very budget deck that works very well.

Thanks for testing it out by the way!

Renegade Krasis works great with Reverent Hunter and Experiment One along with Arbor Colossus if it gets monstrous. Picture a field with a couple Experiment One, a Renegade Krasis, and then something like a Reverent Hunter drops...
Reverent Hunter is basically the star of this deck.
Some cards I am considering:
Thoughts? Any chance of this doing well?

Has anyone tried he izzet blitz build?

@Meta Ridley: Has Counterflux instead of Dissolve been worthwhile to you? Is this just for counter wars?
