Let's not forget that most fake cards have no good explanation of where the person 'leaking' them got them from. If the story doesn't check out, then more than likely you're dealing with both a fraudulent nub and a fraudulent card.

    Flame warning. -Senori
You seriously call my last statement a flame?

    XD
You must not hang around places where debates happen a lot then, or you must be extremely oversensative. As you should know right away to not let a topic such as general views on abortion stay open as it is (as a topic) much akin to beating a dead horse that was beaten to death (to which I clearly think sneakyhomunculus is responsible. First catbread. Now dead horses. Will his spree of wanton death, destruction, and catbread ever end?). And how could you mistake flamebait with a flame? That's like mistaking a Canadian for an American (or vice versa). Well, I know that a lot of people get upset easily, and I understand that's hard to both effectively communicate and (as a mod/admin) manage a message board. I'm a longtime GFF and mise member, so while I may be as subtle as a brick to the face, that doesn't mean that I'm being rude or being mean. No, not at all. No, I'm like that New Yorker who hits you in the jaw and then steals your wallet while you're on vacation because you opened your mouth to say something stupid. I don't do or say these things because I hate any of you. No, I do it because I love you all. If you aren't challenged and given a preverbial kick in the rear every now and then, you'll never grow and expand as a person. So just remember, if I call you a moron, or say that you wield insults like a quadriplegic midget wields an Olympic javelin, I don't say it because I hate, but because I love you.;)

So rawr you sexy thing Senori, rawr!

A problem with embryonic stem cell research, especially with diseases like diabetes (which I suffer from btw), is that they are autoimmune diseases. Making me a new pancreas is fine and dandy, but unless you do something about my immune system (gene therapy, voodoo, ect.), my immune system will just end up killing it again. And then you have problems with tissue rejection. While embryonic stem cell research may help us understand how to get cells do what we want, it will never be a direct cure for those diseases. Similar things were said in the 70's-80's about how abortion research would help cure diseases the world over. We've only gotten a chickpox vaccine out of it so far.

Oh, and like Sen said, please don't call me a fascist.

    Then stop spewing fascist ideologies.

A story, brought to you by the Emoticons.

There once was a Geezer . As he sat in his retirement home, waiting for his inevitable death, he came to remember himself in his youth Link . "My how much of a fun Dancing Banana I used to be" said Geezer . "Then, after I stole that car at the age of 16, I joined the army. God how I miss the army" said Geezer . "I still remember our drill instructer teaching us how not to use a flamethrower Mad . Then, after I got out of the army, I met a beautiful young woman :evil1: . She was the Smile of my life. God how I miss her cooking :kittybre: " Geezer said with much sadness.

Well, one day, Geezer died. Dance "Wtf do I care" said the dancing maniac. "I wasn't related to him".

Well, in a blue/black reanimator, it can be quite good :

dump my badass in graveyard, draw enough to get the reanimator spell I need...

    Just my 2 cents.
You seem to throw around your two cents a lot. What, are you rich or something? -_O

How about we post some emoticons and let the rest of the board decide if they want them?

    o.o

This makes me wonder what exactly the red patron will do. Burn seems too bland for that. Perhaps it might have a "(Trigger Requirement): target creature can't block" ability. One can only hope.

This card actually makes red/white samurai decks easier to play as you won't have to worry about having out the right type of mana.

    Damn you Photoshop!!!

Really, though, the mod tags should end up quite nice (and probably blending into the background as well) when we get over to the vB.

Have you thought about doing a little contest thingy to see who can make the best looking mod/admin banner titles? You could offer something like a customized title to whoever wins the contest, and it would get some people a little more proactive with the boards. Smile

How would you feel about the use of a rating system (stars, numbers, ect.) so that you can see how the community views it's members? How would you feel if you knew you could shut the rating system off (so that others couldn't rate you)?

    Good idea?
    Bad idea?
And why do you feel that way?

The issue is simple to me, and even if it wasn't I don't get to choose for everyone because I don't like something. Smart, qualifyed people say sentience does not begin until point X. Before point X, you are a mass of flesh with potential (yes near certain potential but still just potential) for life.
And just how IS sentience defined? Is it a 123 type thing, like being able to #1.read, #2.write, and do #3.math (as an analogy). What if you're illiterate? Are you then not a sentient being. No, the matter has nothing to do with being able to follow some definition which is based on rhetorical and personal opinions to begin with. The issue with this is it creates a class of society which has been stripped of all basic human rights, and can be killed at any point from an actual medical reason (which is so rare that something like this happens that the argument based on ?What if? is actually nothing more than a way to polarize people,), to simple inconvenience (which usually ranges from financial, to social in origins). It?s said that a true liberal mind seeks to undo injustice and to free itself from such things as segregation of society. These people who advocate abortion are certainly not liberal minds. No, they remind me too much of fascists.

    To use old analogies...

Is metal sacred? The metals used in Apollo 11 could have just as easily been in the gun Lee Harvey Oswald (supposedly.. ) shot Kennedy with. Until the object is made, it is merely a building block.

Cement could just as easily make the Statue of Liberty's foundation as it could a terrorist bunker (or a cinderblock). Materials are not created goods, thus do not hold the same abilities or rights as them.

A human being is a human being from the moment of conception. All that happens after conception is nothing more than growth. While you could make the claim that the sum can never be greater than the whole of it's parts, I can just as easily point out the holes in such thought. Why you ask, because you're making this a rhetorical debate where the method of debate is itself RHETORIC!

Please, do stay calm when discussing. -Senori
