As we were building our decks, the national champion guy (Antionio?) came around asking "does anyone have me??" in refrence to the pro tour card.
My friend ended up playing him round 3, and ended up losing on his misplay (Anonio? admitted "ah you shold of had me").
I made a W/B/G deck with Glare of Subdual (best limited card in the set, hands down) and a few transmute 4 guys to make sure i got my glare every time. I just didnt lose when it came out. (well i did once, but that was after a few missed land drops and loss in tempo)
I was at table 2 for round 4 which was totally kewl....highest table ive been outside of FNM. (Admittedly i did poorly the rest of the night....im always do shaky mana-bases)
Wierdly, I got so much insaine B/U guild support (The rare and common land and 2 B/U signets) but ZERO useful U cards.
I pulled 2 dual lands (B/U and W/G) out of my inital 5 rares. (WEWT)
Glare of Subdual is crazy-go-nuts, and if the metagame shifts to creatue heavy (in the long run, probably not), the Glare is definatly going to be a top constructed choice.
The fact it taps artifacts may make it more viable in extended...or not.
This will see constructed play agaisnt any control deck. Mark my words.
If i have a mit of 5 counterspells, i know they`ll be gone 1 by 1 over the course of the next 5 turns beacuse of this card.
You guys REALLY underestimate the Dredge. Its dredge 2...shoot thats good.
Recussion is good people... Oh wait, not its not, thats why no deck ever used Eternal Witness to recur cards. (I`d rather mill 2 cards then pay 1GG any day thanks).
Pretend you have board control. Would you, for 4 mana, remove the best card in your opponents hand, every single turn for the rest of the game? I think i would. I think anyone would.
The fact you can reuse him every single turn, if you so choose makes this card just molest any deck that needs cards in hand (think combo and control).
Prepare for a nice meal of yummy yummy crow.
Type 2 play...at worst AT WORST, it will see play in side decks. Plus, its splashable.

That phrase does kinda conjure up like my 4 yr old brother picking his nose then wiping if off on my island.
There are so many red "deal 1 or 2 damage to everythign in play" as well as the oft mentioned kagemaro the various "all stuff gets -1/-1 or -2/-2" in the enviroment also. I dunno, any deck that has access to red or black will just demolish the tokens.

This is a genious little card. You can ping people with mana burn when played correctly on top of the obvious use of using it for mana. Constructed worthy? Maybe.
Pretty nice stuff, its hard to see what is REALLY playable yet.

This screams a deck (And a useful one) to be built aroudn it. Reminds me of a certiny RIFTy card from Onslaught block. I hope there is something astro-slidey too....then i can rebuld my favorite deck ever.
Red has some pretty decent creatures with pretty decent sac effects. Red is probably one of the better colors in limited, soley cuse of the power of its commons in the list. Nothing that stands out as constructed worthy, but we`ll see.
