as it in fact has nothing to do specifically with 'summoning' (whatever that is supposed to mean).
I suppose that the term stems from the fact that Back in the day, Creatures were "Summons" and thus "Summoning Sickness" was supposed to mean the "Sickness" of the Creatures.
Now, ever since the term "Summon" has been replaced with "Creature", I avoid using "Summoning Sickness" like the Plague, hence no mention of it in my post above.
You won't be able to declare a Creature as Attacking, or play its {:symtap:} costing activated abilities until you have controlled the Creatures since your most recent turn began, unless the Creature has haste.
The ability of Supreme Inquisitor does NOT cost {:symtap:}.
You can play the ability, tapping ANY Wizard you control, regardless of when the wizard came under your control.
Any Clone effect copies exactly what's printed on the card
Wrong.
Copy effect copy the base characteristics as modified by other copy effects.
Basically, you take a snapshot at the end of Layer 1. That is the objects copiable characteristics.
Phantom Wurm 4GG
Creature - Wurm Spirit
Phantom Wurm comes into play with four +1/+1 counters on it.
If damage would be dealt to Phantom Wurm, prevent that damage. Remove a +1/+1 counter from Phantom Wurm
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may turn Phantom Wurm face down.
2/0
If you Clone this Creature, you will have a Creature that has the exact same copiable characteristics.

You do NOT have a band-new Vesuvan Shapeshifter coming into play, that could copy a different Creature.
If you turn this Clone face-down, you won't be able to turn it back up because it won't have any Morph ability.
However, if you manage to turn this face-down Clone face-up, then it will still be a Phantom Wurm with the Turn face-down ability.
Ghostflame Sliver - "Slivers are colorless" Nature's Revolt - "All lands are 2/2 creatures..." Hivestone - "All creatures you control are Slivers in addition to their other creature types"
These are NOT CSA's.
A CSA is an ability that states that something is something (else).
Wrong.
405.2. Some objects have intrinsic static abilities which state that the object "has" one or more characteristic values; "is" one or more particular types, supertypes, subtypes, or colors; or that one or more of its characteristics "is" or "are" a particular value. These abilities are characteristic-setting abilities. Abilities of an object that affect the characteristics of another object are not characteristic-setting abilities; neither are abilities that an object grants to itself. See rule 201, "Characteristics," and rule 418.5a.
what sort of card would give "Characteristic-setting abilities"?
I'm not sure what you meant by "give"...
A CSA is an intrinsic ability of an object.
If an ability is granted, then it can not be a CSA.
For example;
The first ability of Mortivore is a [Layer 6a] CSA.
The ability granted to Svogthos, the Restless Tomb by its second activated ability is a [Layer 6b] P/T setting effect.
and when is it relevant to consider multiple layers?
When multiple effects would have be applied on multiple layers.
For example; Humility is applied on multiple Layers; a [Layer 5] Remove-Ability effect and a [Layer 6b] P/T setting effect.
Threaten is a [Layer 2] Control-Change effect and [Layer 5] Haste-granting effect.
So they can tap it for mana on their turn as well?
Since the permanent is not a Creature, yes. They will be able to play its {:symtap:} ability as soon as they gain control of it.
However, remember that if it is animated, they won't be able to attack with it or play its {:symtap:} unless they controlled the permanent since their most recent turn began.
Hypergenesis is then done resolving and put into the graveyard.
Now that the HG has finished resolving, the SBE's are checked.
The 3 Saprolings, 2 Elves, and 2 Operatives are put into the Graveyard.
Proper Burial triggers for the Saporlings and Elves put into your Graveyard.
Now, there are 3 JOR triggers, 5 Proper Burial triggers, a Sliver and a Wayfinder trigger to be put on the Stack.
Each JOR trigger will resolve.
The JOR will end up with 3 +1/+1 counters, the Sliver, Wayfinder and Tolsimir each get a +1/+1 counters.
Each Proper Burial trigger will resolve.
You will probably end up gaining 10 life.
I assume your tokens were green 1/1's before HG resolved, thus the Tolsimir would make each of your Creatures 2/2's when they left play. The Burial trigger would use the Creatures LKI to determine its toughness when it left play.
The Sliver ability resolves, the Leyline is destroyed.
The Wayfinder ability resolves, you search for a Land.
Since you normally can only play a Creature on your turn, your (the AP) Triggered ability is opn the Stack first, then your opponents (the NAP) Triggered ability is put on the Stack.
Your opponents Triggered aility resolves first, you 1/1 is dealt 2 damage and will be destroyed.
Then, your Confusion resolves, since your Creature is no longer In Play, the exchange can not occur.
However, if you used Flash to play a Creature on your opponents turn, the the order would be reversed.
504.7. If a face-down permanent becomes a copy of another permanent, its copiable values become the copiable values of that permanent, as modified by its face-down status. Its characteristics therefore remain the same: the characteristics listed by the ability or rules that allowed it to be turned face down. However, if it is turned face up, its copiable values become the values it copied from the other permanent.
It can NOT change the spells MANA Cost.
If you want to Replicate the TH's, each potential copy will still up the cost of the original spell by 2U.
Now, ever since the term "Summon" has been replaced with "Creature", I avoid using "Summoning Sickness" like the Plague, hence no mention of it in my post above.

However, if you manage to turn this face-down Clone face-up, then it will still be a Phantom Wurm with the Turn face-down ability.
They will take 3 and 5 damage.
This may appear to be similiar to taking 8 damage, but it's not the same.

What happens to the Type and/or power of the permanent after the Shackles ability resolves is irrevelant.

You can't (normally) play it in response to anything, let alone durring the combat Phase.
Since you normally can only play a Creature on your turn, your (the AP) Triggered ability is opn the Stack first, then your opponents (the NAP) Triggered ability is put on the Stack.

"Bands" are ONLY formed while Declaring Attackers.
b) Yes, you can choose to assign all 8 damage of the Force to the Confessor.
