Personally I'll be choosing between her and Nalaar once I see her. I don't wanna run both and take up the extra slots in my PW deck. I MUCH preferred "Flamedancer" to "Aflame" but hey, what can ya do?
i really like the name “aflame” because it kind of sounds like maybe she didnt mean to lose control, but she did and now we all have to suffer through it with her. like she made the kind of mistake you would expect from a small child, and now shes all mad and whatnot.
I thought players wanted smaller sets. Wizards decided instead to give us smaller wallets.
and i expect that eventually they may just print smaller cards, forcing us to buy smaller card sleeves. or they learned from player feed back that fewer cards wasnt what we wanted. i wish magic was free too, but i also enjoy a diverse selection of cards.
Every set I buy a playset of every common and uncommon and then typically buy the individual rares I need. I only buy boosters to draft with. Its much less practical to buy boosters to try and get the rares you want.
I think that this is totally on par for the average casual player.
but still, day of judgement is a pretty decent incentive to buy boxes.
With that said, I do like dinosaurs. I hope he was wrong about the pirates as well.
I think from what we know so far it is safe to speculate that there will be dinosaurs and pirates in Zen, just that they will have different names, therefor supporting wotc when they stated that those specific things would not be in Zen. This card are sort of confirms that dinosaur type monsters are at least part of the theme.
