I want something like Gleancrawler, or Mortivore, or something that can be a recursive graveyard threat. Do you think we will see something alone the lines of this? Are all of the Rare slots filled up?
That last ability seems very cool against token decks. I would think of this to be more more of sideboard card, since it has many sideboard card themes built into it; artifact destruction, token hate, and graveyard hate.
I really wish Pyroconvergence would have either cost 1 mana less, or have been multicolored itself, like red/blue. That way it would at least justify the five cmc by making having multiple copies work better together; when you cast one and get an activation off another. Unfortunately it's neither, but we have to play with the hand we were dealt. Are there any really good, low cost, multicolored spells? Off the top of my head, I'm thinking Lightning Helix for Modern.
Since I already signed up for Golgari for the Prerelease, I really hope the 2/6 does not cost 3 mana total, because it would be blocking so many of my guys until I finally get a bomb.
I'll agree and say she looks very Innistrad-ish. But vampires do come in many forms from many other planes. If I had to guess though, I'd say that she's runoff from Innistrad. The ability seems to fitting with the R/B Vampire theme of Innistrad. As far as what deck she belongs in, I'm still trying to figure that out for myself. WB Unburial Rites, MBC, Heartless Summoning... we have a lot of options.
This. I think of Detain as more like having to fill up all the bureaucratic paperwork needed to live in Ravnica
Lyev Skynight: Sorry ma'am, but law dictates that you fill up this paperwork before you are allowed to fly above the cityscape
I think it's like exiling and stalling and holding things down and back with magic. How are you going to detain a dragon? Paperwork doesn't exactly do the work haha
Now I'm just hoping for a Awakening Zone type card for Selesnya. Produce 1/1 saprolings each upkeep? Then this card could have a solid use. Combine with parallel lives... Whoa.
That's actually what I want to see most now, is the actual token producing cards. We have very few so far.
This card is an absolute beating in Limited. The turn you slam this you pretty much just win the game on the spot if they can't remove it.
Factor in that if you play it, then you have other creatures, those creatures will still get the doubling bonus for attacking. Therefore, you don't even need to wait a turn to attack with her for her to be useful. Pretty nifty.
If that actually is the Golgari Charm, I'd be so outrageously happy.
I'm actually sick of angels since we just had a ton of them from Avacyn Restored. This might be a good card, but you can count me out.

Are those real statistics or is that just troll math we are supposed to believe? Because either way, I believe those statistics.
