I felt like the goblins were more removal and the deathgreeters were a bit of overkill since they shouldn't have too many creatures to attack with anyway. If I find it to be a problem then I'll put them in instead.
Personally I don't like using skullclamp because it just seems like such a broken card haha (it's banned for a reason). The Servitors, while useful, don't really go with the deck theme, they would be great if I didn't have to take out some of the things I wanted to keep in the deck.
The problem with having 3 buried alives is that once I draw it, if it comes up again it might be a dead draw unless I have lord of the undead on the field. So Perhaps I should run only 3 death greeters and an additional lord.
Using Demonic Tutor or Beseech the Queen seems like a waste and I can't use Corpse Harvester to fetch him. What do you suggest? (I do have DT and BtQs but what should I take out instead?)
The idea is to swing with Phyrexian Ghoul and sac 2 Nether Traitors alternately while paying B each time to return one to play. All the while using grave pact to clear any troublesome blockers. Comments and Criticism welcome.
Ajani does seem like a good idea. He either gains me 2 life or gives me the ability to better use lifelink by making my creatures bigger. Martyr of Sands would be good since I am actually running al ot of cards that are both black and white (I'm only a little hesitant because I only have 4 cards that require only white mana haha).
I used to run Blind Hinter and while he does gain me 4 life (potentially), I feel he doesn't really fit too well with the deck due to his lack of lifelink. Gerrard's verdict also doesn't seem like it would fit too well in this deck, while it does deny card advantage there is no guarantee that my opponent is discarding lands to gain me life.
While a lot of my creature spells are black and white, nightsky mimic lacks the lifelink I desire for the deck. I think Shadowlance is better than edge of the divinity mainly because it grants first strike and I can pump them as many times as I want (it goes great with cabal coffers especially if I have urborg in play).
This is the deck I've been playing in type 2 since M10 came out, it has worked pretty well so far, I'm not sure how I feel about the goblin assaults though.
I've had a lot of fun with this deck. It's gone through a lot of transformations. It originally contained Yawgmoth's Bargain which allowed me to use my life as a resource. It also used to have Necromancer's covenant and a bunch of regenerating Zombies for creatures but I found that lacking. I'm pretty satisfied with its current incarnation but would like to know if there's something I'm missing.
