Considering that it's been some time that this thread has been updated (and it's a shame since there's been no shortage of token friendly and token producing cards released), I think it should be time this thread gets a reboot with someone taking it over to do the necessary updates.
I'm guessing that with a cycle of "Kird Ape Creatures" there will be no other multicoloured cards besides Garruk. Since the Garruk challenge-dude has B/G borders, it seems safe to keep assuming that he will be BG.
I guess most people didn't expect many multicoloured cards in a core set anyway, but with all the talk about 20 extra uncommons "to improve limited", I wouldn't have been that surprised if they had done a cycle of two-coloured uncommons. I am now guessing that the kird-ape cycle will play the role of multicoloured cards. (Which I like.)
EDIT: I cannot find any inforamtion in the source-code. Has it changed, or am I stupid?
It appears that they have changed the way the gallery works. That means no more span counting.
Planechase has always been my favorite of the supplemental products as well, however, it seems to be the least interesting way to play commander at my LGS. I do admit it can get crazy, especially since the phenomenon cards got added.
Okay, after a year of no updates to this deck, I am pleased to say that I actually played with this deck this past weekend at my LGS's EDH pizza feed, and I managed to kill a few people in the pods I was in. I've actually added a few new cards to it. Below are the changes.
I'm honestly excited that the Ordeals came out, as they can be abused pretty quick with Bruna. After every every 3rd attack, they go to the graveyard and the moment she blocks, the aura will come right back to her, allowing her to use it again. Evangel of Heliod is there mostly to provide chump blocker protection.
I don't recall any animosity towards him being stated by WotC, so I suppose so. He's always been acknowledged to be strong in limited, but not completely ridiculous for a rare, there are plenty of answers to him. He also gives Johnny drafters a little combo to work with in conjunction with tappers, which is nice to have in a core set draft occasionally.
As far as constructed magic, there were a few times I stuck him into some brews when the time seemed right, G/B midrange rock decks and things like that, and it was OK for FNM-level competition. I'd love for him to be back, since I own two Beta copies that I like to play with -- any black card especially looks so much nicer in Alpha/Beta
If I were WotC, I would have put Royal Assassin in this set, plus Shivan Dragon, and as many iconic Alpha reprints as I could cram into the set. You could put them on a "time-shifted" sheet or something like that, even use the old card frames! That's the point of having a big 20th anniversary set, to celebrate the origins of the game and the people who are still around from the beginning. The more of the set we see and none of that is happening, the more it looks like the game isn't for us anymore, it's for the new players, and tying it in with DotP to market to newbies is more important than tying it in with the game's history and legacy.
Core sets are typically supposed to be marketed for newer players. However, while there's always going to be reprints in the set, they always put out new cards for those of us who play the game. They know they can't please everyone.
Why is WotC reprinting cards such as pacifism and cancelagain?! Can they not leave out those cards from a single core set? And will pacifism at least have new artwork, I hope?
Yes, I shall remain hopeful, since there are still many cards of this set that have not yet been revealed.
Cancel was not in last year's core set. There's still room for Odric, Talrand, Krenko and Yeva, but Wizards might print new mono-colored ones since Neferox is not going to be in the set.
I think since Wizards has been bringing in a different mechanic each year (Scry in M11, Bloodthirst in M12 and Exalted in M13), There's a good chance that all the cards with Exalted aren't returning.
Those are cards that are going to be standard legal, but will not show up in M15 packs. They appear in the the sample decks.
Actually, since five lands were spoiled early, those two no longer fit since Yavimaya Coast is at #249.

This is proof that Opportunity, not Inspiration, is at #66.
