There is already a space to talk about the new cards that were previewed. Doesn't make sense to make a new thread to talk about one card that is already being discussed.
In today's ask wizards http://wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/activity/1027 it says at the very bottom that players are allowed to use the Promo card from the guild pack (which I'm assuming is the prerelease card).
I'm interested to see what effect this will have on the prerelease as a good rare may end up warping the sealed event with so many in a room.
We've known this since Comicon, so this is essentially old news.
I went ahead and bought one, and I was a little disappointed. I just started getting back into magic and 2013 is the first set I'm collecting. I was expecting 4 boosters from 2013, but instead they put 1 from each of the Innistrad block and 2013. The "semi-random" cardswere mostly commons with a hand full of uncommons spread across the 4 sets. If you are looking for a wide range of cards, then it is for you. As for me I was mainly wanting m13. Hope this helps.
the previous two versions of the deckbuilder's toolkit were both like that. It's designed so that you can build decks based on the cards that are going to around the longest in standard at that time.
Okay guys, so I went to my LGS and unfortunately, they were out of both Eldrazi Conscription and Diplomatic Immunity. Until I get those, the deck won't be necessarily "good" per se. But if you guys want, I can put up a list of enchantments that I currently have that I got between me and my friend and see what ones can go into the deck for now.
I'm helping a buddy of mine to build a deck revolving around Bruna, with cards that are typcially less than $50. Can anyone recommend to me some good cards that would go to aid in the enchantment theme as well as some good inexpensive enchantments?
Shauku isn't silly. Self-pumping and repeatable creature removal are really underrated, and the 3 life lost each upkeep isn't so harsh in a vampire deck.
She's also one incredible combo piece if you have a Necrotic Ooze (which you should, since there are a lot of vampireswithinterestingacitvatedabilities) and a Cinderhaze Wretch.
But, on topic, I'd run Drana. You'll be able to use her ability more often than once per turn, which already makes her more effective than Anowon IMO.
To get the most out of Drana, you should supplement with Nirkana revenant, and the upcoming Liliana of the Dark Realms. The scenario, Liliana gives you an emblem with her ultimate, which makes any land with swamp in its type capable of pumping out 4 black mana. Nirkana allows you to add 1 more swamp to the mix for 5 total black mana. With enough swamps to pump up, you could get rid of most of their flying creatures and have enough left over to swoop in for 21 commander damage.
Well, that wraps up the Number Crunch for M13. I think personally this was the most talked about set minus all of the error fixing posts that I've seen.
For the last time, Noble Heirarch is not going to be in standard for a long time. They have not printed any other exalted cards outside of White & Black.
I can still hold out hope that Sickening Dreams will get a reprint. All my reanimator deck needs is another quality discard outlet alongside Faithless Looting, Wild Guess, and Liliana of the Veil. Would go pretty well with Veilborn Ghoul too.
Any particular reason this couldn't happen that I'm not aware of? Too many uncommons revealed already?
We do indeed have too many uncommons already. That would make Black a little too good and besides, this isn't the place to post hopes for cards. It's to talk about cards that are either likely in, confirm numbers for the crunch and to discuss what's not in.

Unfortunately, deck search is bugged out on Tappedout.
Edit: Here's a list of Auras that I have found that I potentially want in the deck:
White
Inviolability (damage prevention for creature)
Curse of Exhaustion (for controlling a player's casts)
Hyena Umbra, Mammoth Umbra, Eland Umbra (all the white umbras I have)
Burden of Guilt (pay 1 to tap target creature)
Commander's Authority
Luminous Wake (goes in hand with Bruna's activated ability)
Asha's Favor (mostly just because of first strike, but can be for someone else)
Armored Ascension (boost)
Prison Term (lock a card down)
Defang (for preventing damage)
Call to Serve (boost, flying for something besides Bruna)
Battle Mastery
Celestial Manle (life gain!)
Lifelink (life gain)
Holy Strength (boost)
Blue
Fool's Demise
Drake Umbra, Crab Umbra, Eel Umbra (all the blue umbras I have)
Spectral Flight
Ghostly Touch (tapping effect)
Curse of the Bloody Tome (mill)
Curiosity (draw)
Convincing Mirage (making a land a specific type to allow landwalk)
I'll get my non-Aura enchantments up later. I just want some help in narrowing the auras down.

There are indeed 9 rares. According to Inquinata, who seems to be trustsworthy, we have Rewind in the set.
The full visual spoiler is being revealed midnight Eastern time tomorrow?

So then I guess that means adios Vastwood Gorger too.
I will update with this information shortly.
Any chance you happen to have a source for this information?

Whoops, I meant to put it in italics. I hate it when I do that.
