Feb 4, 2014Shriez posted a message on Launch Giveaway! My favorite card out of every card in this game would have to be Thundermare. It may not be among the best or the strongest cards, but it was the first card I ever pulled from a booster pack of Portal all the way back in 1998. I still have that same Thundermare to this day.Posted in: Announcements

As for my own deck, I'm thinking of taking this to next FNM, first time I'll get to play in months. I played something similar last time to decent results, the cards I'm still debating about are keep the Glittering Wish and Blessed Alliance in or take them out for 2 Collective Company. I have a Scrying Sheets incoming as well and will probably cut a Plains or Reflecting Pool for it.
5 Snow-Covered Forest
4 Windswept Heath
4 Ghost Quarter
2 Reflecting Pool
1 Scattered Groves
1 Gavony Township
4 Birds of Paradise
4 Leonin Arbiter
2 Qasali Pridemage
2 Scavenging Ooze
4 Loxodon Smiter
3 Qasali Ambusher
2 Thalia, Heretic Cathar
1 Eternal Witness
3 Wilt-Leaf Liege
1 Reveillark
1 Sigarda, Host of Herons
2 Shapers' Sanctuary
1 Dromoka's Command
1 Collective Effort
1 Engineered Explosives
1 Glittering Wish
1 Blessed Alliance
2 Rest In Peace
2 Stony Silence
2 Ethersworn Canonist
1 Fracturing Gust
1 Gaddock Teeg
1 Harmonic Sliver
2 Choke
1 Wrath of God
1 Blood Moon
1 Oversoul of Dusk
1 Ajani, Mentor of Heroes
Side deck is subject to change and right now assumes that Glittering Wish stays
Side deck I'm thinking 1 Swamp and 1 Godless Shrine or Blood Crypt for lands and Tidehollow Sculler/Lingering Souls and Dreadbore for black cards. Only other side card I know I'll run is Sulfur Elemental.
I drew Sword-Point Diplomacy in rounds 1, 2, and 4 and I gotta say I like SPD way more than Painful Truths. Opponents even said that it had a bigger impact than they thought it would so I'm taking that as a good sign. The only time I didn't like Sword-Point Diplomacy was when I messed up and played it without thinking against Death's Shadow, oops. Dire Fleet Ravager I think is cool and had some big plays with it, but just doesn't have enough oomph enough times to make me want to keep it in the 75, off to the Commander deck it goes.
Ravager is most likely going to be replaced with Stormbreath Dragon and I'm thinking of swapping a Slaughter Games for a Blood Moon. Here's the list I ran.
2 Arid Mesa
2 Marsh Flats
2 Shambling Vent
1 Lavaclaw Reaches
1 Needle Spires
1 Inspiring Vantage

1 Mountain
2 Swamp
2 Plains

3 Butcher of the Horde
1 Dire Fleet Ravager
1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
3 Nahiri, the Harbinger
1 Engineered Explosives
4 Inquisition of Kozilek
3 Lightning Bolt
3 Path to Exile
2 Fatal Push
4 Lingering Souls
2 Sword-Point Diplomacy
1 Kolaghan's Command
2 Stony Silence
2 Slaughter Games
2 Crackling Doom
2 Thalia, Heretic Cathar
2 Ethersworn Canonist
1 Anger of the Gods
1 Wrath of God

As for taking out Illness I'm thinking putting in the 4th Path and Kataki, War's Wage or going double Kataki.
