so lets just assume that raffinity dies on tuesday, where does the format go from there? will there still be just a few decks on top? will there be the diversity wizrds hopes for? will the format continue with current popular decks, or will new ones rise from the ranks? discuss
well im voting instant/sorcery i was thinking about what the dust could be, and i think a name like "shifting the sands of time" could fit and then it could be like a time walk verient or something good like that

well i wouldnt be surprised, hollywood will put out anything right now so far as its not original, im worried if there were a movie wizards would put out cards with photograpphs from the movie instead of art, and that would be kinda lame
I tuink Yokura AND Hidetsugu in the same precon makes that the best precon rares-wise in a long, long time, perhaps even ever.
wow, am i the only one who remembers back when alleren and worship were in precons? im trying to think of other big rares, but i remember both of those were huge at the time but that was when they were just starting to make them
the decks themselves werent great, but the one with worship and periah was a really fun pestilence style deck
i think #7 though could be land destruction too, i dont see why people keep saying it can only be a tree folk, you can make a card around the blue shooting star thingies

ummmm maybe im reading this differently than every one else, but it says each upkeep, meaning you get a draw during your oponents turn too, maybe im misreading or miss understaning this, but if a card says each upkeep, it usually means your oponents too, but that would make the card too good i think
i voted #9 because its the only one that doesnt go into a specific color so much, well w/b/u, artifact, land, well thats at least more flexible then most

#9 seems like it could make for some weird cards, along the lines of bizrre of wonders or some other really weird effect
Well, let's put it this way. I've got a Vintage Doomsday deck in MWS that only needs a Dark Rit (4x in deck), a Doomdsay (4x in deck), either an underground sea or an appropriate fetchland (x16 in deck), and a second land (19x in deck if you take away the first) to have an effective 2nd turn victory. The chances of having just the rit and doomsday in the opening hand are about 15% (which doesn't really even sound right, considering how often it happens :wink3:)
your talking about a two card combo, this is a 5 card combo, much harder to draw
