Granted. They are now free as long as you can supply the Tix and the Packs to go with them. But those arent free.

I wish magic lung monsters would stop crawling out of my but when I'm asleep to search for food.

Me? You want me to tell you where MY name came from???

    LET ME TELL YOU THEN!!!

I was writing the beginning of a story when I was really young... i think 10 or something... It was going to be about a Beetle who had to run away from predators and danger, only to be found by a kid who squished it. However, for some reason, I made it into some kind of fantasy fiction novel that I am still working on seven years later. Basically, he is imbued with magic and becomes intelligent, and its then where he becomes the Drunken Beetle, Drunken not meaning alchoholic but wandering, being satiated with his experiences.
Sadly, I made that story with someone who used to be my best friend... about three months ago we both silently agreed never to speak to each other again, and now I am left alone to write it without him. The name will live on, however, and I shall for ever be the DB! ALL HAIL!

T4:SW,Equip Jitte, bash for 2, go.

    T2: Hand of Cruelty
    T3: Jitte, swing for 2, 18
    T4: Equip Jitte, O-Nag, swing for 2, 16
    T4: Jitte tokens for +4+4, equip O-Nag, swing for 9, 7
T5: Jitte tokens for +4+4, swing for 9, game.

what other creature would you like to pitch to the plate? Slave? Marauder? Yokura? Where do you get better results with Shuko?

And mind you, we aren't playing a game of Goldfish. There are threats that need to be taken care of. What do you do when you are facing Hand of Honor with a Shuko? What about when Ire of Kaminara is coming to the dome and you have a Shuko? Jitte solves problems, Shuko gives a creature +1+0.

I cannot believe I have to have this discussion. Its like explaining why Hand of Cruelty is better than Spineless Thug.

Please substantiate your assertions. Just because I chimed in with a differing opinion doesn't mean that you have to reply with condescention. I already prefaced my previous post by saying that "I don't purport to be an expert on MBA

    I dont condescend people!
I cannot believe I have to have this discussion. Its like explaining why Hand of Cruelty is better than Spineless Thug.

... um... i'd like to move to take the last statement down.

While testing online, I've run into this deck two or three times and aam intrigued by its consistency of beating me down. I'm not sure what is in the deck itself, but it plays much like WW in standard does.

Off the top of my head, here's a decklist composed of cards I usually see when playing. I'm not in a position to look up cards, so I apologies if I get the names wrong.

    9 Plains
    9 Forests
    2 GW Legendary Lands
    4 Loam Dweller
    4 Lantern Kami
    4 Thorn Kami
    4 Kami of Ancient Law
    3 Kodama ofthe South Tree
    3 Kodamas Reach
    3 Kodamas Might
    3 Unchecked Growth
    3 Jitte
    3 Blessed Breath
    3 Long Forgotten Gohei
    2 Terashis Grasp

At the moment I can see some gaps in the decklist. For one, I know this runs more creatures than this, but I don't know what I am missing. Splicing has a small roll to play, mostly with Unchecked Growth and one or two Kodamas Might for the win. Long Forgotten Gohei acts as Glorious Anthem and ensures your Arcane spells a chance to be spliced.

I need to look online more and get to a real computer so I can see a cardlist.

Razorjaw Oni helps on the mirror and MBC. However, that's ALL he's good for. I've gone to two in SB.

On the Raving Oni Slave/Takenuma Bleeder debate... Well, a days worth of playtesting, save for school work, gave me little insight on the choice. I have two decks I'm trying to test now:

    V1: SuiAggro
    Land
    19 Swamp
    1 Tomb of Urami
    1 Shizo
    Creatures
    4 Hand of Cruelty
    4 Nezumi Graverobber
    4 Nezumi Cutthroat
    4 Ogre Marauder
4 Raving Oni Slave/Takenuma Bleeder (Still deciding... Leaning toward the speed of the Slave)
    3 Yokura the Prisoner
    Other
    4 Distress
    4 Horobi's Whisper
    4 Jitte
    4 O-naginata
    Sideboard
    2 Razorjaw Oni
    4 Nezumi Shortfang
    3 Cranial Extraction
    3 Eradicate
    3 Night of Souls Betrayal

    And the second deck...
    V2 Aggro
    Land
    20 Swamp
    1 Shizo
    1 Urami
    Creatures
    4 Yokura
    3 Infernal Kirin
    1 Ink Eyes
    4 Hand of Cruelty
    4 Nezumi Graverobber
    4 Nezumi Cutthroat
    4 Ogre Marauder
    Other
    4 Sickening Shoal
    3 Distress
    4 Jitte
    3 O-Naginata
    SideBoard
    2 Razorjaw Oni
    4 Nezumi Shortfang
    3 Cranial Extraction
    3 Horobi's Whisper
    3 Night of Soul's Betrayal

Ill post results if I ever get around to it... Have a few tests to study for.

Wow... that's... simply amazing. I can think of no reason of banning people for offering advice. Ya, lets just say that SCG really doesn't know how to play its Magic.

    @ Zirilian
My list is changing a little bit each time I play it. Its back one page, though currently the spot in question is being filled with 4 Takenuma Bleeder for testing. As for Post 9th, I'll check the rumormill and see what's up.

Aggro and Suicide are two different things. However, I don't buy that you can say that because a deck is suicide, a terrible card can replace a great card. Really, I don't care if your playing Mono Black Pineapple, Jitte is better than Shuko 99% of the time.

    Wait... *punches numbers into calculator*

    Sorry, 100%

SCG must be run by ex YuGiOh players if they came up with that list.

By many decks standards, 23 lands is a lot. I have 21 and really have no problem with my mana base. Keep in mind Yokura is the highest casting cost spell in the deck.

Shuko? Shuko??? I'm sorry, did these people just overlook the most powerful equipment card in block? If it were Manriki, I'd understand... A bit. But this is disgusting, don't use Shuko.

Sink into Takenuma is stupid on so many levels that I suddenly lost all hope in whoever wrote this article.

3 Marauder and 3 Cutthroat? Yes, I agree, lets take our best creatures and get rid of a few of them. Brilliant. And how many times will we need spot removal? Not enough to have a playset of S. Shoal or some Whispers or Shadows.

Well, since there is no other card thatcould be so obviously misplaced that I would expect the decklist running around the casual room, ill just end this OH WAIT, look at this! Razorjaw Oni, MAINBOARD. Great idea, lets give all other agro/suicide decks a head start. I mean, its not like WW and Snakes can generate a larger amount of threats than we can. Sideboard that right now and replace it with a playset of Nezumi Graverobber.

Creaturewise, the best you have are going to be Hand, both Nezumi, Marauder and Yokura. That right there is 19-20 creatures, depending on whether you play 3 or 4 Yokura. Over the course of the forum, there have been numberous suggestions on other creatures to run, but most are either too mediocre or don't fit the deck entirely. Raving Oni Slave is quick, powerful, can be o-naged and is an ogre (a definite gain with Yolukura and to a lesser extent Urami), but its drawback is one of the largest in the deck. Many occasions I have lost more than half my life from them while dealing little or no damage to the opponent. Dropping it is being considered. Takenuma Bleeder is the same thing with a dealable drawback. I don't know why people dislike this card, but Infernal Kirin is already creeping its way back onto my list. Its 4 mana cost for 3 power and toughness is dwarfed by its equippability, evasion and its spiritcraft.

As far as spells are concerned, Distress is too good not to have. We cannot deal with Jitte, Gifts, enchantments or KotNT when played. If we play Waking Nightmare, the opponent can just ditch the spells he doesn't need, or land. Distress also lets us see what we can expect in the following turns. Playing Distress also has the added affect of lessening the need for Manriki-Gusari, or whatever that anti-equipment equipment is called.

Removal is tricky, but my rule of thumb is this: if you play Shoal, play 4 Yokura. If you are going to ditch something, let it be something you won't miss. Otherwise, Horobi's Whisper and Kiku's Shadow are suitable removal spells.

    My List:

    4 Yokura
    4 Nezumi Cutthroat
    4 Nezumi Graverobber
    4 Ogre Marauder
    4 Hand of Cruelty
    4 Takenuma Bleeder/Raving Oni Slave/Infernal Kirin
    4 Distress
    4 Horobis Whisper
    4 Jitte
    3 O-Naginata
    1 Shizo
    1 Tomb of Urami
    19 Swamps
    SB under construction
    3 NoSB
    3 Cranial Extraction
    3 Nezumi Shortfang
    3 Razorjaw Oni
    3 Eradicate/Kiku's Shadow/Befoul
