It doesn't make sense that he's lying about his ability, or that he's a traitor. It has been confirmed by the way he told both me and axelrod what our abilities are. Logically, it is NOT a traitor ability: they would have little or no use for that role information. Clearly its designed in order to give the town additional information to better coordinate their lynches.

Actually, it is a very good Mafia role. It allows them to prioritize their kills. For example, they investigate someone who turns out to be a vanilla townie and realize he isn't worth killing so soon. Or they investigate the doc and immediately kill him.

Investigation is a very potent Mafia ability, if not a common one.

Azrael, I am becoming more suspicious of you with every post. That doesn't mean very much, though, as I am infamous for making bad calls, especially regarding you.

20Bux: here's a theory you might like. Your wife was having an affair (with, I don't know...the Hitman. Or maybe someone else) The Don found out about it, and he was going to tell you, so they killed him (hiring, I don't know...the Hitman to do it.)

    How's that for flavor?

    That makes sense.

I considered this also, but I keep coming back to the fact that to give two instant daykills to the Traitor Mafia, on top of the nightly kill, would be absolutely broken. I can't believe that reed (or Sparrow) would do something like that. Assuming there are three Traitors, they start off only needing to kill/lynch 6 of us to win the game. Two daykills brings it down to four. One bad town lynch, one night, and suddenly we have just about lost.

Even if Sparrow did go insane and give them this ability, by killing even one Traitor (if only to divert suspicion) now the remaining two traitors need to kill/lynch eight of us to win. That's not what I call good strategy. Especially when it looked like musashi was getting lynched anyway, and when he came up innocent, Titus would be the next easy target. No, Azrael would never have done what he did if he were a Traitor, it just makes no sense.

By the same token, Titus wouldn't have been calling for musashi's lynch first if he were a Traitor, it's bad strategy.

But is it so bad that the town would never supsect the Mafia was doing it, so they could get away with it?
Granted, I don't think that's the case, but it's possible.

Firstly, I am having qualms about lynching a claimed cop, without another cop to debunk him, or solid evidence. Unvote: titus. This partially stems from my first real game, where I was the cop, but acted kind of scummy.

Also, is it possible that Azrael is Mafia and picked one Mafioso and one Townie to off, thus killing a Townie and solidifying the Town's trust in him? I definately wouldn't put it past him, but in a game this small, doing it this early would be a major hit to the Mafia, because the chance that an SK or lynch will get blindly lucky is too great. But maybe he just wants us to think it would be suicidal. Hmmm...

Well, if titus claimed to be a cop, but gave us wrong information, it was probably a Mafia tactic, right? I'm not so sold on titus being scum, simply because he got so much else right. Unless I'm misreading the thread, which is possible. But then again, he caused mass-roleclaiming that could only help the Mafia. That's enough for a vote: titus.

Also, I'd like to point out that the blood reletive of Don Atello (which I am) was a Townie, and so am I.

I'd ask a doc to protect me tonight, unless a cop is confirmed today.

next argument: the holocaust never happened

You're not arguing with me. The whole point is to argue.

Here's how it works. I start off with a statement that can be argued. Then, someone argues it, and says another statement that can be argued. The next person does the same, etc, etc.

Statement: Peanut butter and Jelly is the best type of sandwich ever.

Lastly, I don't think we should write Mushashi and Chrome off just yet. He's probably not called the Entertainer for nothing.

Either something will happen to Mushashi and Chrome (probably death) once Mod checks what Azrael has done, or Azrael will die. Either way, we get potentially valuable information.

I'd tend to believe, however, that the former will happen, because Azrael isn't stupid enough to commit suicide without actually benefitting someone.

This game has become ridiculous. Yes, I am the Don's son. After my father was murdered, I vowed revenge on whoever killed him. I am (for now) a vanilla Townie, although I was told that that would change.

I am also probably at the top of the Mafia's hit list (after the cop, if he's telling the truth, which I believe he is), because I am a potentially dangerous (to them) Townie.

Also, I just want to point out the billking has edited at least 3 posts ITT. I don't quite recall if that's legal in this game (I've always taken for granted that it isn't, but the rules in this game are very strange), but even if it is, it may mean he has something to hide.

Unvote: whoever I'm voting, if I'm voting someone

I will wait for an ID on the people Azrael killed before voting.

If you really are the cop, that is one of the most uneven trades we could make. You would have been better off stating your suspicions and coming up with logical explanations than saying "I'm a cop; trust me."

Again, terrible move. Reeks of scum.

    Well titus posted, unvote Titus.

Also, eci, that was one of the dumbest things you could have done. Assuming you're telling the truth, the Mafia kills you tonight. If you're lying, we lynch you tomorrow. Bad move.

    Hooray for completely pointless posting!
About Chrome: he's saying he was trying to put pressure on a lurker, the same way you guys had 3 votes on Chrome to try to get him to explain himself. I really don't see how this is different.
I had a FOS on billking before, but now I'm going to vote: billking and propose the posibility that he and Musashi are scum. Why did billking jump to try to get a bandwagon on another person instead of a lurker?

I never planned on starting a bandwagon. I thought that CM was scum, and asked him to explain himself. He did, and it was quite possibly the worst explanation ever. Either he's scum or an incompetant Townie, and either one is dangerous to the town, especially in such a small game.
