i do however direct the reader to the fact that sales lag in july, meaning this is probably some ridiculously overcosted, ridicously broken set that everyone will buy so that Hasbro's CEO can go buy another yacht.
I'm pretty sure that it will have the new frames... Wizards could print the old frames, since they did Old Fogey and Blast from the Past, but I doubt it since it apparently takes more work. According to the following, they updated their printing tech, and it might not be very easy for them to use the old frames anymore.
However, they did bust them out (although only for a couple cards) because of a special event (Unhinged), so they might bust them out for another special event (Coldsnap).
Wednesday will be big.
i don't think the old borders are coming back - sorry
although i think that Coldsnap is mainly a marketing gimmick to sell more cardboard crack in the traditionally slow summer months - they really should release it in december, since than its perfect for christmas gifts and such.

this is interesting, but the mechanic seems very, very limited.
not sure how viable a 'haunt' deck is.
it requires that the opponent play creatures....

i think that sums it up for me.
i do however direct the reader to the fact that sales lag in july, meaning this is probably some ridiculously overcosted, ridicously broken set that everyone will buy so that Hasbro's CEO can go buy another yacht.

although i think that Coldsnap is mainly a marketing gimmick to sell more cardboard crack in the traditionally slow summer months - they really should release it in december, since than its perfect for christmas gifts and such.
the big sets always get old before Jan 20.
