Sadly enough i LOVE his ability, it allows for some nice idea's, even some new ones, which for a block with ravager is unusual. BUT the most disappointing thing about him is this, His ART. I find i too campy and simply not good enough. It has the feel of more of a mass removal spell then a Creature.

Eh im leaning towards the skeletal scrying and Reanimation ones, if there were a THIRD reanimator... then yes, reanimation would be NICE. With shallow grave variant and that bad reanimator, and this, there would easily be a deck type.

And white i See this as being the most playable white card really:
    White Shoal - XWW
    Instant - Arcane
You may remove a white card with converted mana cost X in your hand from the game rather than pay White Shoal's mana cost.
You may remove X attacking creatures from the game.

2nd: This doesn't look like a patron or a genju. You can see an army cowering in the bottom right corner of the pic, which I wouldn't excpet from a 3/2 or from the patron of the subtle Soratami. Probably something completely new.
3rd: This card has a lot of subtle coloring in it, something I would expect far more from a blue card than a black one.
4th: Grene Genju. You can see in the bottom left corner the vines breaking off, like it's pulling away from the ground.

    2. I agree about it not being a genju, but size isnt always a indication of power. I still say that it COULD be the patron, what with whats comming out of his mouth.... Earth/ground.... maybe a referene to its ability? And if this thing has the ability to move LAND im sure it must be partially big....

    3. Subtle? Yes. BUT this card also has the Purplish haze that is ALWAYS associated with the Black creatues. And One cannot dismiss the general FEEL the card gives off, like an assassin.

    4. I agree its a genju, the only thing leading me to believe it is the WHITE one, is the simple presence of the large mills, Mills are VERY rarely found in the forest. An example would be the MM plains in which mills are quite prominant, but i concede te point is could be green....

the second one from the left is pretty cool.
I wonder what it is,it looks pretty big.
    I'm hoping it's part of a cycle.

I'm hoping that they're a cycle also... the patrons, i dont like the idea of TWO cycles of large, probably unplayable cards... lol well, in t2 at least.

The 1st has definite black feeling to me, mainly because of that ribcage he's wearing.

Um in the forest, surrounded by trees? And its SOIOOO green a background, concidering the back ground of the prior black samuri yeah... i think hes green...

    Lady Pearn EAR!! :shocked2:

To me, from left to right: ( ALL SPECULATION )
    1. Looks kinda like a green Samuri:sweat:

    2. Has a definate blue feel, leading me to believe that either there is another cycle of LARGE creatures, OR it has a good chance to be the Patron of the Moon.

    3. Looks like a new Female BLACK samuri, the dark purple background is a definate give away. Probably a Legend, due to the closeness of the art, and that there is but one living creature in the whole field. Maybe a black legend samuri, which would make things interesting if Toshi was printed. there being TWO black legendary samuri printed in one set... and a smaller one at that.

    4. Appears to be the White Genju, it is a spirit, as evidenced by the windmills floating, and looks to be MADE of the plain...

    5. Um.... Toshi. Little else one can say, except for that. He appears to have just taken part in a large battle, and yeah... is cleaning his blade, maybe cleaning off the after effects of a Kanji symbol.

    (SECOND SET: LEFT TO RIGHT)

    6. Um, a new ninja, maybe a uncommon...

    7. An Ogre in front of Shinka the bloodsoaked keep, which from gathered information is a ogre keep. Which would make sense for Hidetsugu to be at. So that could easily be Toshi's ally, Hidetsugu, the legendary ogre from the first book.

8.Umm we all know this is Ink-eyes, the desecrator.

    9. Um, yeah, this is like some of the other creatures and has the look of one of the patrons. Patron of the Nezumi, leading credence to my earlier stipulation that MAYBE the big blue thing is the Patron of the moon, what with this black things monsterous size.

    10. And yet another card whose identity has already been placed. This would be Pear-eyes(?) i do believe the name is, the 1/4 who redirects damage to himself.

Those are my guesses as to the identities of each card, or atleast the identifiable portions. (I.E. the people contained within.)

Hmmm.... i for one am liking the diea of that shoal in a BROODSTAR affinity... what with the BS's massive cost, it is a very nice target, and since most BS affinities run atleast 3... its got a good chance of getting both of them, plus its FIRST TURNABLE!!!
