I'm not a fan of Body Double, something about it just seems bad. I look at the 5 cc and say that Teferi is better at the slot. You could make a blue reanimator deck but white and black do better right now with 4 cc spells right now. Body Double is just too expensive.
The new Akroma is very nice, and i love the combo with momentary blink. I think people is miss that even killing her with Damnation might result in a Resurrection and another six damage to the face. She could be amazing in block in just a WR or WR/u build.
The new ball lightning is pretty nice as well, and there's plenty of creatures to make a sui-green deck with 4x elves, birds, the sui-drake, ball lightning, grand master funk tickles, the new thunder mare-ish creature and others in type 2.
Graphics:PsP
Games:The DS has the bigger library but both have their gems
-PSP: Metal Gear Portable Ops, both the acids, Powerstone Collection(plus game sharing, the best idea to portable gaming in forever), Sega Genesis Collection(with 3 Phantasy Stars!!!), Valkyrie Profile:Lenneth, Lumines 1 & 2(best puzzle games ever, yes, they're better than tetris), Elder Scrolls Oblivion(when it comes out), Every Extended Extra, etc.
-Stylus(if i spelled it, durp)-it's great to see it but i always hated being forced to use it for the games that required it. The best example is the Star Fox game, which would have been much better if you could just use the classic controls.
-The feel: They both feel great, I can hold either one for extended periods of time, but the PsP felt alittle better to me.
-Movies: I don't mind watching Clerks or the like on the run.
-Multimedia: As above with movies, yes, the Psp wins the multimedia part, but it doesn't mean you have to use it. I'm perfectly happy using a psp 95% of the time for games. But i do like to be able to stop game play whenever i like.
-The bottom line: they're both pretty good now, it's all about choice. Yet, the ones who haven't tried both out should never rule out something without trying it, unless it has the name "32" or attaches to a console (except the Sega Cd).
The Faction cards have too many rules text on them. The other cards are filled, too.
Too bad this isn't battletech. You don't mill an opp. to death. A few short sentences is too many rules. The game has some of the most stream-lined rules i've seen so far, considering this is just the beta rules.
I thought it sounded like a Teched out Legend of the Five Rings game.
Actually it's nowhere near Legend of the Five Rings. There aren't any damage counters in l5r. There are 'faction' cards in it but function much much differently than in the spoils in terms of being basically a land, honor(which is nowhere to be found in the spoils), and province strength (which isn't in the spoils either). Then there's the whole two deck approach in l5r, where as the spoils only contains 1 deck.
The spoils is actually like the wow tcg than it could ever be similiar to Legends of the Five Rings. They both have a very 'damage' systems (aka counters on characters). They both have a similiar to won approach with damaging the other player's hero, who function just like factions.
Or I'd make an actual new ww2 strategy game, really using those things called terrain. Plus you could use the finns. The best way to apporach it would be to put the player controlling part of a company where you can see each individual vehicle and/or soldier in your command.

You should have played it when it came out for the sega cd.
I'm off playing spectral souls for the psp and super mario land again for my gameboy pocket (1989 goodness).
