I think blue shadow is def. interesting, esp. if blue gets another U shadow creature or a 1U( or UU) shadow creature as a 2/1 or even 3/1. Doublily true if indeed p.blast is a purple card and type 2 legal.
Pricing is really going to depend on what the legality of the purple cards are. I'm sure if Call of the Herd is again type 2 legal, it's price will skyrocket, amoung others.
He's a true testiment to such a classic card. The Magus is completely fair for type 2 as well, giving your opponent a turn to nuke him. Because he's a creature the magus probally won't see 4x in decks like the disk of old.
OK, one thing that bothers me about these cards is:
As of now, THEY DON'T WORK.
Current rules (213.1a An object with no mana cost can't be played as a spell.) forbid you to play spell cards with no mana cost, even if some effect allows you to play a spell without paying its mana cost (Evermind+The Stick doesn't work last time I checked -- "* Even an effect that allows a player to play a spell without paying its cost can't allow Evermind to be played.", from SOK FAQ).
Wizards would not print a card that would not work. The TS FAQ will address the suspend cards without mana cost: probally by going around 213.1a
Has anyone tried out Starfox Command yet? It's pretty crappy controlwise, the scheme didnt workout at all for me. It could have atleast redeemed itself by allowing the old starfox controls. The only redeeming aspect of the game was the interesting turn based missons.
Lol, i just caught a few pics of the 3v3 mario basketball game coming out soon as well. Next up is probally mario hockey(one day).
An interesting game coming out later this year is the Marvel VS psp game, based solely on the upperdeck versus card game.
Wizards is apperently pushing burn decks more and more, and now this: crazy. I'm wondering if this will be restricted in type 1 or banned in other formats?
It's a cute card but i doubt it's use in standard. First it's 3BBBB(7 mana), that's alot of mana to kill a creature. It's true that if you hit a large creature, you're going to do alot of damage. Then there's the suspend of 5, alot can happen in 5 turns enough to force either a countered spell or hit one of your creatures.
If you really want to focus on the card, it's better for b/g than r/b because of cards like giant growth and might of oaks. Might of oaks alone can mean atleast 15 points of life loss(from a 0/1).

I like the throwback aspect of the card and a 3/3 for 2R with regeneration is never that bad.

Don't you just hate that?
Well, atleast we get games like madden, etc.[/sarcasm] *sigh*
