If I control Gisela, Blade of Goldknight and I use something like Shining Shoal or Reflect Damage to redirect damage, will I do X damage, where X is halved coming in by Gisela and then doubled going back out, or can I stack things such that I avoid Gisela's halving ability and thus do 2X?
For example, I'm attacked for six damage. If I use a redirect ability, will it be halved to three, and then doubled to six when I point it at my opponent, or can I apply the redirect effect before Gisela halves the incoming damage, and so do twelve damage to my opponent?
Domineering Will is a fun one too; it plays right into Bolas' wheelhouse when you steal creatures from an enemy and give them to yourself (or an ally, Bolas can play politics too!) to block an otherwise lethal attack. I also like Arcbond as another political card that one can use as a way to showcase Bolas' destructiveness.
If you ever decide to add creatures to the deck, clones are a great choice for a Bolas deck. Bolas loves minions that can infiltrate his enemies' organizations, maneuvering them into that perfect place where he can strike without revealing his hand. Dack's Duplicate, Evil Twin, Metamorph, etc!
I'm digging the theme! I started a similar project after seeing Dark Intimations spoiled - this is going to be a fun year for Bolas EDH!
For your theme, I like Expropriate a lot. I think you should consider Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time to supplement your card draw, especially considering how many spells you run.
I agree with your assessment about your color requirements. I've taken the approach of leaning more heavily towards black and using Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.
That's all I've got for now! Good luck with the deck!
I think Rishkar, Peema Renegade is worth consideration. Anything that turns one of my resources into another resource is interesting, and being able to tap my creatures to help pay for a Death Cloud, get a second mana out of something that I was going to sacrifice to Phyrexian Altar, or turn a token maker like Avenger of Zendikar or Mycoloth into a mana battery of sorts after I've sacced all my lands to Squandered Resources is pretty great.
I think you answered your question already about vigilance - there's no good aura that grants it. At the end of the day, Sigarda is only one creature, so even if she does get to sit back and block, in the best case scenario she's only dropping one creature per attack. OP's list runs Moat, Silent Arbiter, and Dueling Grounds, all of which do a better job of staving off attacks than Vow of Duty or Heliod.
As for Daybreak Coronet, there's only 13 auras in OP's list, and two of them go on lands. I'd rather have a card I can cast whenever I want then one that makes a good situation (i.e., Sigarda with an aura on her) even better.
There are no non-foil copies of any of the new Commanders. Each of the new four color legends as well as all of the legends with the Partner mechanic come foiled in the standard card size. See SCG's or Channelfireball's site for proof; none of the big vendors are selling non-foil copies of the new legends.
I've been waiting for a thread like this, and while Thopter tribal is more "fair" I think the idea of assembling doomsday machines (infinite combos) is too perfect to pass up.
I have a few questions:
1) Conspiracy Daretti instead of Daretti, Scrap Savant? I think Savant combos better with Yawgmoth's Will, although Iconoclast making tokens to sac to KCI is pretty great.
2) How do you feel about Cloud Key instead of Etherium Sculptor? Two mana to three is a big jump, but Cloud Key is more resilient and can come out turn one off Mana Vault or Mana Crypt.
The same reason why Dack Fayden's foil was/is so expensive: he's a popular mythic from a set that just isn't being opened heavily enough to meet demand. Even though Conspiracy 2 will be printed to meet demand for the next couple years, no one cares to open it because the possibility of opening a draft matters rare sours players on randomly cracking packs. Most stores have moved on to Kaladesh drafts, so product isn't being opened in that capacity either.

Atraxa EDH decks maybe? I haven't seen anything in Modern making heavy use of Doubling Season lately.
