Have put it in the signature. And as for the cards on my want list, there is nothing as rare as those, though most of these are either standard or modern staples. But still, seems strange no one wants to trade. Is another problem maybe that Pucatrade seems much more popular in USA than here in EU?
I've seen several indications that the EU isn't the best place for Puca. Also people don't like sending staples with the continued value of PP being in question.
So Ive traded a bit on Pucatrade some time ago, and just started again, getting about 25k points very fast. Now I had listed A LOT of cards i want with the total value of 212k, just for the sake of getting any of them soon. Its been more than a month now, and no cards were sent to me yet,nor did any user contact me.. I offer a bonus for some of those cards too, and added so many of them so that a user can see me favourably by sending more cards to me at once. What else can I do to get these cards? Or is there any way to sell the points and get the money to buy them in stores?
That's very strange, unless of course your 212K of wants are things like Moxen and Force of Wills and duals. These get sent, especially with bounties, but still not every day.
There are a lot of Facebook groups where you can sell the points for about 60-65 cents per hundred, though now may not be a good time to sell since if Puca's policies actually do end up revaluing points you're gonna miss out by selling now. At the same time, Puca has previously made a stand against big shops selling PP for cash, and I believe they've recently made statements regarding their intent to crack down on personal selling as well.
Is this just better than Sage of Epityr? I never liked turn 1 Sage for some reason. I like this card because if played on curve you can filter out some trash and get yourself some value when clamped. Of course Sage is better turn 1 but like I said I dont like casting Sage on turn 1 anyway.
I'd say it's most comparable to Gurmag Drowner, though not quite as good. Being able to nab lands or the occasional Cloudstone Curio / Glimpse of Nature is huge. Whiffing on those makes me not like it quite as much as Drowner, or even Sea-Gate Oracle. Sage of Epityr's real value is as a one drop, not even just on turn one but immediately after casting Animar. I definitely think there's a place for this guy in the deck though, it's just a matter of figuring out the right slot.
You may be familiar with all these options but thought I'd chime in just in case:
Blue isn't really the color for creature pump BUT it does have a few options in Favorable Winds. Beyond that you have a couple of creatures like Paragon of Gathering Mists and Grand Architect.
As the popularity of swords and jittes increase a lot in my meta, I´m thinking about increase my response to artifacts, maybe enchantment, here my options and what I think about them:
Nature's Claim: Can beat Equipaments and Enchantments and it´s cheap, in the other hand, it has no interaction with the deck at all.
Viridian Shaman: very good sinergy with our Elves pack. I think it may be better than Ukatabi Orangutan
Caustic Catterpillar: Even thought it may look very costly, it can be still usefull even if opponents cast cards like torpor orb.
Any other suggestion you guys would made?
Eldrich Moon:
Would Elder Deep Fiend be a good addiction for Animar?
Aluren seems cool, but it's really clunky. I was really hesitant to cut it, but did so awhile ago and haven't ever looked back. Pretty much the same with Birthing Pod.
I think everyone is really underestimating the power of taking control of someone's turn, even if they get to take another turn for themselves immediately after. Not to mention it's almost always cheaper than Mindslaver, though you obviously can't stretch it across two turns.
Oh man, that Planar Birth tech is so sweet! Good call. I was pretty iffy on Trade Routes since I don't want to lose all my mana access, but that combined with Crucible of Worlds ought to do the trick.
I figure it would be a good idea to have a thread like this. I know more than once I've been looking for a card with a particular kind of effect within certain parameters and end up missing a lot of stuff because keyword searching on Gatherer isn't always enough. Making a thread for each request can really clog up the forum.
So it's simple, just ask for some cards that do what you need them to do and say in what colors you want them. This is a helpful community, I'm sure there will be plenty of great suggestions and maybe some out-of-the-box thinking.
Personally, right now I'm looking for a good way to keep my hand stocked with lands for Retrace in White/Blue/Red. I've got Land Tax, but it seems like all the other good options are in Green.
I'm very interested in picking up some of the first-time foils (Drake, Mother) and I think it's going to be tough to predict.
It's worth pointing out that Mom has multiple previous foil printings, including the first printing. This is the only foil option with the new art, but I'm guessing most of the DnT players pimping out their decks are going to prioritize the ULG printing.
I agree that Winter Orb is a good one. That and Gamble are the ones I'm making sure to grab. Both see play in formats where people like to pimp out decks and are probably never going to see a standard printing again (Orb more so than Gamble, but not by much).
I could see Drake coming down a little more (not by any meaningful amount, though. You can already grab them for $4 with shipping) and staying low longer, just because it's a common and the demand for them is lower.
Yeah, true. I went ahead and got a Mom on Puca anyway just to make sure I get at least one. I figure it being the Terese Nielsen art is worth something in the long run.
Thoughts on Control Magic foils? I picked some up ASAP at the $15 mark. I can't imagine we'll ever be seeing that foil again, and foiling aside it's the best art. People love Nielsen.
Library of Alexandria seems to be going through the roof for some reason. It's spiking like crazy on TCG with some copies even at a grand.
Yeah, Library shot up to 1150 mid. It's been settling down again since then, down to 900 mid, but something really must have happened. Did EMA somehow cause this? Predicted spikes in Vintage players or something?

Spectral Flight is probably the best.
Austere Command is probably the best boardwipe you'll get like that, though Phyrexian Rebirth at least leaves you with something. Same with Martial Coup.
There's no maybe about it, Viridian Shaman is strictly better than Uktabi Orangutan in our deck. She's the next most obvious choice after Reclamation Sage. I don't like Nature's Claim since I really want most of my cards to be creatures. Caustic Caterpillar is likely the next best choice.
Elder Deep Fiend is terrible.

Peregrine Drakes can be had for 3-5 bucks on TCGplayer right now, despite the mid being closer to 15.
