I saw Eerie Interlude in the Shadows over Innistrad Spoilers. Would we have problems if this card would show up in an opponents sideboard?
That really depends what those creatures are. Keep in mind most of our stuff is bigger than most creature based decks and aside from it also triggering the occasional non-bo of Deadshot having to kill our own Macabre your still going to have better board position most of the time.
Also ask what deck would actually play this? Eldrazi, even if it is a deck after the fact, probably won't touch them outside of a sideboard because it is so specific. White Tokens deck cant use it. Thalia stax archetypes cant use it. There really is not much it can actually go into.
Also, Ghostway exists and has never seen any play.
I've only really dealt with one douchebag in the few years I've been using the site, so that's pretty great.
I've encountered a decent number of pretty rude people; I have a list of really nice sealed stuff available and often get messages where people get really upset when they find out about my prices. Like, I've explained to you why they are the way they are and no, 100 PP isn't the same as a dollar. You're not going to get 25% off of TCG low from me. I also recently got a really snide, unnecessarily rude reply when I asked a guy if he would be willing to pay out a little extra for a signed card.
But when it comes to trades, everyone has been great. The worst I had was when I was waiting for an international package. I sent the sender a message after about a month asking what was up and he got an attitude with me, asking why I'd even accept international if I wasn't willing to wait. After a full month. Card came like two days later so everything was fine.
Currently dealing with a bit of a crisis. Mid February I sent out a whole stack of packages, but none of them made it. Two came back waterlogged to hell but I haven't heard anything about the others. This is the first time this has happened to me on the sending end, so I'm a little on tilt. Puca gave me the points on the two that were returned, but for the rest (all between 600-3000 PP) they've been pretty silent. They asked that I try to contact the post office about the missing packages, but all of my research on that says they don't have any kind of process for PWE (totally understandable). I contacted the admin e-mail 9 days ago with that info and they still haven't gotten back to me. Has anyone had experience with this kind of stuff?
I'm only adding 5 wastes. I got my foils for $9 each, which I think is the low, especially since it's not like we're going to see wastes again any time soon.
Can't really find 183 for less than $10.50, and they're bound to go up. Unfortunately 184 is more like $15+.
It's strange what people will send. Somebody was sending me like 50 PP of tokens, and he had a LOT of PP. So I messaged him out of curiousity, asking why he'd do that. He said it was all in good fun, not so much about profit. He gets to give people things they want and he'll get stuff too. It was all very in the spirit of Puca, though I find it hard to understand that level of it.
At my old job, I had access to a postage machine that my bosses didn't mind me using. Even with that, though, the effort of having to package cards up and send them away wouldn't be worth 18-50 points to me. These days I won't send even domestic for less than like 600 points.
Why did Hall of Gemstone just pop? I know it had small jumps as of late, but now it's at $28.00 (as of 12:45am Pacific). Is it being used as a color hoser for 2+ color decks?
Every card on the Reserve list is getting hit lately. The fact that this card was A) playable, and B) under $1.00 made it a perfect target. But as always, the reactionary pricing system of TCGPlayer makes a small supply shock look like a lightning bolt to the face.
The playability part is, yes, because in theory it hoses 2+ color decks. In practice it's a minor annoyance and rarely does what you want it to (a.k.a why it was $1.00).
It also hoses Eldrazi by cutting them off from colorless.
Spent some time at GP DC picking up some cool stuff, but definitely one thing really stands out:
Had bought a playset of these to get signed before Christopher Rush's unfortunate passing, turns out he only ever signed a handful of them. Bought it direct from his agent, so I know the money is going toward a good cause. He was the only Western artist to ever do the art for a Pokemon card so far (I believe). This is gonna stand out in my collection for a long time as a centerpiece, being a long time fan of both Christopher Rush and Pokemon.
I'm currently struggling with my tokens. I've picked up a lot of cool custom/assorted ones from artists, but at the same time before that craze I'd gone through great lengths to pick up the proper tokens for my cube, including harder to find ones like the promo Soldier tokens from Theros and the old Darksteel Beast token. Now I don't know which pile to use :/
Anyone have any idea what's with the spike on Conspiracy?
I've seen a couple people mention it with Thing in the Ice as a way to make the bounce one sided. Way too cute to have any big impact in competitive circles, but I'm sure there are plenty of casual players who will love it.
Seems like it was inevitable. It's a very unique effect with a lot of combo potential. Next closest thing is Xenograft, which isn't as good and stands as a testament to the fact they probably won't print Conspiracy's effect exactly again.
Thanks for the ideas guys, a lot of good ones in here that I had overlooked. I especially like how Hydroblast's awkward wording lets it target non-red spells then you can change the color on the stack.
I'm looking for some ways to have fun with Glamerdye (and similar) for a Zedruu donate deck. Looking for cards that I can change the colors/land type on in order to make my stuff better, or that I can donate to mess up my opponents. Currently I'm rocking:
So, there are a lot of wants for Drana, Liberator of Malakir recently. Is this just speculation on whats coming with SOI, as the value hasn't really changed, or is it starting to be run somewhere?
Price has been pretty flat. Probably just people trying to preempt SOI spoilers.
Also, Ghostway exists and has never seen any play.

Imp, not close. Convene is only better if you're trying to support aggro madness or something.
Scatter seems far better, though I haven't played with Dissolve.
Research, not especially close. Standstill is too conditional on board sate.
Troll and Tracker are pretty different cards. I'd be inclined to say Ascetic is going to be the better third turn drop much more often.
Whoa, what are they?

A happy accident, actually I started building the deck before the rules change and it just so happened it worked out just fine with my theme.
- Circle of Protection: Blue (etc)
- Wrath of Marit Lage
- Douse
- Ruby Leech (and friends)
- Celestial Dawn
- Sword of X and Y
Thanks for any help!Price has been pretty flat. Probably just people trying to preempt SOI spoilers.
....I did a ctrl + F for Azusa and didn't get anything why wouldn't they put that in the title?
