Both, so hot. I'm hoping that some day those will come in my mailbox. I haven't received any cards lately. That Harmonize would go in my Highlander 150, replacing my Foil one. Sigh...

I always thought that ONS would rotate this October anyway, so this is news to me. Hopefully with this rotation, they will help eliminate dumb combos as well as designing not just between blocks, but between multiple blocks as well.

I don't like the fact that goblins will still be popular, but happy that the Fetchlands are sticking around a little longer.

I, for one, don't think the Mistmeadow Skulk is FS is going to be reprinted. Though it points all the signs to yes, we were always told that the Future Shifted cards were possible outcomes of different worlds, some as red herrings. The Snow creature Centaur Omenreader was a possible outcome of another snow world, though it was explored in Ice Age and not quite possible for this world (with obvious reasons).

I would like to point out that the two "Preprints" might not be using the same theme (ala Edge of Autumn/Street Wraith). I'll take a deeper look into what could work and get back to you guys.

I keep thinking of it being called Event Horizon. I'll keep putting two T's in Eventide until I correct myself (Like I had to do there). The symbol is awesome, and like what everyone has been saying, almost confirms the light/dark world. The logo is really cool, I'm rather impressed.

I'm excited. Though I will be missing the pre-release this time. Something about a honeymoon I'm supposed to be on. I can't talk my way out of that. Sigh. Oh well, what can you do?

Eventide gets my two thumbs up. For now...

I got my promo from the Release party of Morningtide last week (we didn't have the rare card, sad). They do look too much like Cenn's Heir (same artist, it just looks like he's in a different pose) as when I flip through my binder, I keep thinking it's him. I did also get the Oona's Blackguard, and it does look very nice.

Earwing Squad promo card for the Release events this weekend.
This time, it's not an uncommon.

As I was about to leave the card shop today, the FedEx guy came and dropped off a package. A guy opened it and out popped promo Mogg Fanatics and Mind Stones. I only saw that Japanese thread (here) so I started a new one.

They both have the DCI foil logo as the watermark, so I'm assuming they're Arena, but I don't play in that league, so I wasn't quite sure.

The Mogg Fanatic is the same pic (which I still didn't like) so I didn't look at that one very much.

The Mind Stone one look amazing, with an actual brain in the pic inside a library, though it was snatched away before I got a good look and say what the artist was. It's very beautiful.

Sorry, I don't have scans (the Shop still has the cards), so I can't provide them, but thought I would share about the info. If I'm able to bargain with them, maybe I can take a pic of them tomorrow and put them up (as of this posting, they're not up on eBay just yet).

Edit: 10-07 - I went to the store and the guy who handles the Magic wasn't there, and he put the cards away. So, Yurei, we're counting out you (I was only going to get horrible pics anyway, and if you're going to scan them, that's even better).

Love the name, love the logo, hopefully this will be the set that cycling comes back in (It fits Street Wraith's flavor a little bit).

I told a R&D guy on Saturday (At the Seattle Prerelease) that I was going to take a Ring deck to States to draw my games. Use Oblivion Ring, Faceless Butcher and Faceless Devourer in a deck together to draw all of my games. He laughed. The DCI doesn't care if you draw games, as long as you don't waste time. So don't sit there for 50 minutes showing your trick, just draw the game.

As I've always set, I've loved the art in this set and finally seeing it for the first time, it doesn't change anything. It's a nice fantasy world where you don't have doom and gloom around every corner. Some of the name and what they do are a little different then what I want, but I'm not going to speak poorly for that.

Thanks to everyone who worked on getting this in the correct order and bringing them up. I was following your progress last night on the boards, but I can't program, so I couldn't help.

No, no one is saying that at all. Everyone just wants to see a scan of the card, especially the card text. We don't care where you got it from, as long as it is real.

When I first saw this card, I thought it was too good to be true, and a Top 10 card in Lorwyn. While this "New" development might hurt it, it doesn't surprise me. There was Seedtime in Judgment.

It doesn't concern me to an extent because I don't pre-order cards, but I would like to know because I am building decks for States and if it is only Blue, then it does get pushed to the sideboard.

Must have token art... (I start to drool). As I've said all along, I love this art, now, the tokens are amazing.
Interesting that Flores thinks this card is the must have uncommon. When he said what this week might be, I thought it was the Neo-duress. But, oh well.

I'm glad they're doing it. It was fun in the early stages of Magic when it was about flavor, but when they started focusing on creature types, it was time to change. I'm sorry Flavor guys, but this time, function beats flavor. You got your merfolk though, so be happy about that.

I still want all constructs to become contraptions. It would mess with our minds like nothing before it.

I'm working on a fun deck with those two cards, and Auratog and Claws of Gix as well. Mesa Enchantress lets you draw more cards as you play them. Use that with Temporal Isolation and Griffin Guides, with Teferi's Moat thrown in and you have the basis of a fun deck.

The 1 drop merfolk might be good to use against Urborg (if I'm understanding the rules right) so you can shrink the usage of Tendrils. The rest of the stuff is Meh (we've already seen the Tradewind Rider Merfolk earlier today, and I like it more than mother people).
