Yes because he has all ready targeted you. Giving yourself hexproof after the fact wont change its ability. He wouldn't be able to target you with a new one but that's it.

The thing about Stormbreath is that it isn't actually played in any sort of competitive deck at the moment, and yet for some reason is still hovering around the $30 mark.

The only decks approaching tier 1 that could feasibly play him are red aggro decks and Colossal Gruul, but neither of them do, not even in the sideboard.

Most mono-red and boros lists are running him. A lot of gruul lists are running him. wat.

I doubt she's going anywhere. She's in an Intro Pack; the ceiling is very very low.

Jitte was in a intro deck. So was skullclamp.

After opening thousands of booster boxes going back to Mirage, I've never seen anything like the OP. The weirdest thing I've seen was a pack of Fifth Dawn where there were 2 rares - one facing the normal way and one upside down. I've never even HEARD of anything like the OP happening, and I've known a lot of players/dealers/collectors/investors. I really don't think it has ever happened, or ever could.

No way have you not rancored, you played during invasion. Entire cases of planeshift went out that where all rares.

That's hardly fair. That's actually very, very unfair to people wanting the cheap rares, and I'd never trade with someone wanting $1 for 10c rares. That'd be like asking $150 for a Snapcaster, proportionally.

Trading with people who value rares below a dollar is a god damn chore. I've been playing this game for a long time in a large community and only a tiny handful of people I've ever met don't trade all rares at, at least a buck unless its beyond janky jank. Usually the same people that value prices down to the quarter.

Whenever I "trade" with anyone the first time, I pay attention and try to figure out what they are up to. If they are a value trader or someone who likes to offer lots of chaff for big cards, I make sure to remember their face.

If they ask me if I have traders in the future, i just say "No" and "tell them trading with them is a waste of time" Personally I'd rather give my cards away to someone who will appreciate it and enjoy them, than deal with bad traders.

What the hell kind of trading are you doing? Who offers cards for stuff they want? You let someone look at your stuff find a agreement and trade. This entire thread sounds like people getting upset that they are not good traders and made a bad deal in the past.

Its so ridiculously easy to trade right, you just get a decent average price let people find stuff. Trading junk for high dollar rares is also not a crime jesus. If someone wants 20 janky dollar rares for a mutavault that's fine, both parties are happy.

If you traded off some staple for a set of cards you wanted and realized later it was a bad trade, its on you not the trader.

    I would

    - 2 Tidebinder Mage
    - 2 Vaporkin

    + 4 Omenspeaker

When using Seer as one of your end games he drastically changes how your deck potentially plays out. You don't need to be as overly aggressive as the Mono U version nor can your mana base realistically support it. Instead you play out much more like a aggro/ control deck, you play a few creatures, drop a vault, get in a few hits, threaten a Thassa/ Ashiok activation and generally just try to force opponents into your pace of play with plays such as Master of Waves.

Then you slam down Seer and simply accelerate the game so fast that they can't keep up with you. Omenspeak is simply better in achieving this, both as people are starting to move more towards more removal/ control focused strategies, which in turn makes Mono U weaker and as your mana really should not be able to consistently be able to support Tidebinder on turn 2 anyway. You are running less basics for a stronger gameplan at the cost of consistency so having creatures which improve your consistency should improve your deck allot.

I would not however be so quick to disregard Jace/Bident entirely, but I can see where you're coming from.

Omenspeaker feels awful in this deck every time i've tested it. Maybe if the format shifts way away from green/red creatures would I cut tide but never before.

A couple questions on your list:
    1. Why Duress? I'm assuming it's for the control matchup. Is 7 discard spells really that strong there?
    2. What are you bringing in Rapid Hybridization against? Why this over black removal like Doom Blade or Ultimate Price?
    3. What matches is Far/Away for?

Rapid against BWR midrange. It nets out blood baron which is ****ing huge. And it turns stormbreath into not a threat, same with ghost dad. I board out the two cylconic rift's against BWR and bring in far/away. This also goes hand in hand with the standard B/W midrange matchup, where even a early rapid on Preicent captain is helpful because that card ****ing hurts.

7 discard is that strong there. If you ever go duress into thoughtseize(or vice versa) on t1-3 its going to feel like gg for them out of the gate.

The other thing i'm testing is cutting the cloudfins for 2 Dissipate and 2 Negates.

This card is worse than Explore, and that see basically no play in eternal. I don't see how this will.

This card is nothing like explore. Do you know what wasteland is?

If you want some honest advice, don't follow this advice, Its all pretty much bad. Buying cards at pre-release price is a pure gamble. For the handful of winners you may get you will lose your shirt more on the majorette of losers.

So she is a 5/5 indestructible, draw fixing, pay 1U unblockable? Yep first money card spoiled right here. The other 5 spoiled cards were overcosted even for the slightly slower environment that Ravnica brings.

    Money Card. No lol.

She requires 2-3 other cards on the field to even be a creature.
