I assume you buy from ppl with 100% feedback, right? They are the only ones I buy from. If so, it could simply be a simple print error or something else. I wouldn't worry too much about it, assuming the person had 100% feedback.

I did read duel decks have glossier cards than normal, but are event decks the same way? I did think of that, but wasn't sure they were printed the same way.
Hi, I recently purchased 4 Thragtusk from an eBay seller and just opened them today. 3 of them are fine, but one of them is much glossier than normal, which makes the green on the card a little darker as well. I remember seeing some Scars cards a couple years ago that were faded, and I remember the Avacyn Restored foil were glossier than normal, but I am unable to find if this was a common occurence with M13 cards, even by searching. The stock seems about right as well.
Anyone know something I don't? Do people still print fake magic cards and why would they bother doing it for a card worth like $25 at its height? Thanks.
...In other words, under the old wording, if you would Eradicate the splinter token, you would be able to find all the Splinters in your opponents deck and remove them from the game. Fairly insignificant, but just one of those things...
Edit: The errata may be irrelevant now anyway. All cards like Eradicate were changed from searching "for all copies of that card", to "all cards with the same name as that card." As an Assembly Worker token does not have a name, you can't find the Assembly Worker card anymore when you Eradicate/Splinter it. At least that's my interpretation.
Actually, Assembly-Worker tokens have the name "Assembly-Worker" so barring some errata i guess this wierd interaction would work on these cards.

Anyway i dont think that the wotc will make that big mistake to put 121 more cards in the ts block,because 1st 422 to much,2nd how many cards in boosters? 16? 15?,repladce a ts rare card with a rare reprint? no i dont think so.
ts block will have 301 card 80 r 80 u 121 c.
the idea in time spiral is the return of some older mechanics and a few few reprints direct in the block like plated sliver.

You seem to forget that a certain purple symbol was submitted to MTGSalvation and a few hours later it was pulled down after Wizards legal team or whoever told us to. If there is no purple "subset" why was the wizards legal team on us so fast? Wizards practically confirmed the existence of a special subset with those actions.
@ Taunting_Elf- One word: Skred. Funny you should say that Rimescale Dragon can't be killed, since I killed it with that very spell. I think I had a more fun time playing Coldsnap Limited than I did with Ravnica Limited, though I'll admit that the latter takes more skill.

Sure, you can get 5 Feast of Flesh in sealed and kill Rimescale with it, but that doesn't make it good. Yes, thats a weak comparison, but you also need to consider only red and blue then have answers for them. Blue has limited amounts of bounce, and red has Skred plus multiple burn spells. Of course then they will most likely just Raise Dead, but its a fairly unbalanced set. In Ravnica, I've played any combination of guilds and won tournaments, but in Coldsnap, theres definitely a power variance in the colors, and its quite noticable.
My dislike of the set is from the limited standpoint. Limited lacks good removal. The best rares in the set are immune to every peice of removal in the set, making them broken beyond belief.

All of them are too large to burn, don't die to Chill to the bone, or two Surging Flames, or Mouth of Ronom, or Krovikian Plague, or Feast of Flesh, or.... Bombs should have ways to be neutralized, even at uncommon. Herald of Leshrac also fits most the criteria but isn't Snow and dies to 2 SF's or a Mouth if you hit it before its CU. This set was poorly designed for limited play, and if Randy Bueler really thinks its fun to draft, he has issues.
I don't like the idea, but I'm not a huge follower of the PT, so i guess i can learn some of the big (or not as big, i know major ones, Budde, Maher, Rade) PT players.
People are saying SoD (heh heh) is anti-Cranial Extraction. I'd like to point out that it does however hit cards in your hand (and graveyard, though with Witness cycling out of Standard, this is less relevant), which is a major plus of CE compared to Jester's Cap etc. I still want a playset!
IS it possible that they may reprint Ray of Erasure in Ravnica. Milling seems to be a srong theme in set and as of now there have been zero blue cantrips. It seems to make sense that they would reprint ray(U, top card of library into graveyard draw a card).
Maybe a functional reprint, but not a strict one. R&D has phased out delayed cantrips AFAIK. Might see play, but i doubt it. Serum Visions and Sleight of Hand > Ray of Erasure, even at Sorcery speed, and 1 card rarely makes a difference, especially with SDT around.
It is weird that they would change all "Regeneration" cards in 9th to UNC then print a card that has Regeneration and make it C.
Not really, they deemed common regeneraters were too complex for the core set, not expert-level sets. Most sets get regeneraters as commons, usually bad but hey, they regenerate

Yeah, but maybe with Terrarion they are trying to not have mana abilities draw cards. It's kind of confusing when you Thoughtcast using a chromatic sphere during the mana payment part of declaration. (you can't look at the card you draw until you next receive priority - rules baggage)
