lol ok...the stupid Giant Fan deck didn't get a good reception lol but thats ok, I'lll make some of those changes at least.
...a new deck idea, I already posted it, defending Heed the Mists from all the people who bashed it lol.
...just for fun (this is a casual group lol)
As always, everyone's quick to dismiss this card. Yes, it has little place in constructed formats, but does every card have to make an internet decklist for it to be anything more than "l.o.u.s.y?!"
Sample Decklist (probably not the best, but thats not the point)
4/8...meh..kinda hard to understand...even tho u explained it, i still dont see it
EDIT: Alex, I just posted after you, but i was thinking the exact same thing...seems like a nice discreet spam attempt...half the posts aren't even ranking other ppl..thats pm material.
Honestly, I doubt that Wizards has such an intent. Obviously, they are not completely attuned to the surroundings, missing such obvious cards as Skullclamp and Ravager. Wizards, when making cards, never seems to realize when an exceptionally good card is created (or else they would not be). The players break the cards; I don't believe Wizards is capable of creating "broken cards" because, when they are created, they are not so in the eyes of the designers (or they would not be printed). I'm sure there are many cards like Ravager and Skullclamp that were designed, then, once they realized that the cards were too powerful (as far as to define an entire environment), they were either weakened or removed. Since the sets are designed individually (for the most part) and since they are designed so far in the past (they've got like 3 sets done already right?), suggesting that they know how their new set will impact the metagame when released doesn't seem to make sense. They don't have any intent; they cannot like one color more than the others. Yes, Green had been a whipping boy for a long time(ask Jamie Wakefield), but that was because of lots of things (color pie, etc). Once they decided to change things up and be a little more liberal with costs (ie Wild Mongrel), Green was no longer the "bad color." Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't think that Wizards has any intent to make one color better.
5.5/8...I liked it more when the colors weren't inverted, but it gets the message across...don't forget how stupid 'news and he who should not be named (S_S) were.
Hi. I've tried setting up apprentice and others for online play and I've been quite unsuccessful. I was wondering if anyone could give me a step by step way to set up and actually play MWS or Apprentice...this would also be a great help to lots of people like me (theyre out there) who don't know where to start, especially with the possibility of leagues starting up here. Thanks so much.
Hi guys...got a weird one for you. Every set, I update this deck a little, but, as of now, its too slow i think lol. It's a very fun (and VERY casual) deck based on Unglued's Giant Fan...Read the card, its important because lots of cards wont work like you think they will. The card gaining the counters must reference a specific type of counter (that's what it winds up gaining).
I'm not sure if anyone said this yet, but it's a great help to RDW against Life in extended...that matchup improves dramatically with this card.
EDIT: I guess it was talked about already, but yes, this is very good against Life. Playing this 3rd turn or so may allow you to kill them before they can assemble the combo pieces again. 16 (or less, depending on the first few turns) damage can happen quickly enough that Life doesnt get another chance.
Cmon! This card is fun!...regardless of how everyone feels about mark gottlieb, this card + blinking spirit is a pretty decent idea. Not every card previewed is made for play in tournaments. I for one, can't wait to use this card in some form of crazy casual deck lol.
