Can someone explain to me how duskmantle seer is a 15 dollar card? I know its mythic and costs 1 mana less, but the power level seems comparable to bloodthirst demon and that guy sees almost no play.
If you have turn 1 hada into battlesinger into evangel things get out of hand quickly. Pod is great for getting ranger then podding again for urabrask and casting the remaining allies in hand.
For johnnies, I considered running 4x changeling berserker. if yo have 3 breserkers at any point in the game you can start an infinite look and make your other allies infinitely big.
Caudron haze is pretty hillarious against board wipes.
Hey guys;
How have your matchups been with your decks. I really want to make a merfolk deck work, but haven't been able to build anything that keeps up with jund.
I don't know if someone has already said this, but I find this sequence highly amusing.
Player 1: Turn 3 cast blightning 1st main phase
Player 2: HAH discards sedraxis specter and bloodghast
Player 1: Play Bojuka Bog 2nd main
Player 2: D'oh...
i tried building a sac deck at some point though i was focused on devour so I was running more bloodghast/rotting rats/goblin assault, etc. The card I can think of that might apply though are:
tukatounge thallid (works well with ooze garden + oran rief or sorin),
skullmulcher (redonkulous card draw when you're in a pinch. I always found it more useful than mycoloth. It also won't get you into awkward bloodbraid situations like thunder thrash elder can when you have nothing on the board)
eldrazi monument- win immediately, or keep making oozes. Unfortunately it doesnt serve as a sac outlet for your thefts spells but maybe that doesnt matter as much.
bazaar trader - steal something, give it to yourself, it stays.
I'm new to this, but could people maybe give a sense of what the likelihood of the following cards showing up in M11:
Baneslayer: Already been discussed a lot. Seems like the consensus is that it will 80-90% come back otherwise a LOT of people will be annoyed.
Lorwyn Planeswalkers: Will the lorwyn planeswalkers be reprinted again or will we see some of the mono colored shards/zendikar planeswalkers instead. For example, I've heard alot of speculation that Ajani will get replaced by Elspeth. Will Chandra Nalaar get replaced by Chandra Ablaze? How about Liliana to Sorin?
Day of Judgment: It seems logical to me to have DoJ in a core set, but I would think they would hold off until at least M12. It doesn't really make sense to have it in two sets overlapping for a year, though oblivion ring says otherwise.
Tribal lords: There's been some speculation on vampire nocturnus, but do people think the lords will stay the same or will they change also (though I know that would give two lords in a tride). Lorwyn's uncommon lords were pretty awesome though...
Enemy duals: No-brainer right?
Is there a reason you're not including Kinsbaile Cavalier. He gives all your knights double strike. Then you can use Brave the Elements to punch damage through/protect him.
