Blah, blah, blah doesn't instantly snap eternal format, not going into my EDH decks, 0/10 #garbage
OT: Machinations is certainly an interesting card. Really screws with combat math. The gargoyle isn't that great. Would 3 to transform it have killed them?
I seriously hope the green mythic is a werewolf lord. I don't care how silly that sounds. One sided wolf warrior shaman.
didnt we already have 14 mythics ? how many are in this set?
It's the first time in recent Magic history that we have a set with so many cards (297). It wouldn't be surprising to see more Mythics than usual.
Some people think we're getting 20 Mythics, which wouldn't be THAT surprising considering we still have one whole week of spoilers to go. Green still needs its legendary Werewolf too.
No mono green mythics spoiled yet. It has to be two werewolves and and/or legendary humans.
Can't be werewolves, we've seen the rare/mythic checklist card and the one green entry is accounted for by Sage of Ancient Lore. I suppose it's theoretically possible there's a third checklist card but I think it's super unlikely both because there's plenty of room for more names on this one, if it were needed, and because that'd be a [em]lot[/em] of DFCs.
Maybe it's a werewolf that doesn't flip, kinda stuck in his "afflicted" form.
I disagree, a 2/1 for 1CMC in Red is insane. I've been playing RDW variants for a while in Standard and if Foundry Street Denizen saw play, this new vampire will too. It doesn't go as wide as the goblin, but it can enable a very fast start and that's exactly what you want.
WOTC must be pretty pissed off about that leak. It's probably the most important leak since the NPH Godbook.
It spoils the most important Mythic from Oath of the Gatewatch
It spoils a new, important mechanic that will impact the game in a huge way
It means whole articles written about these cards will now be obsolete (or at least partially). Imagine you wrote 2,000 words on the new Wastes only to get your card(s) spoiled weeks beforehand
I also don't understand why we got two mythics and a land. I guess someone already has the whole set and just wanted to spoil the biggest surprise about it.
3 is pushing it, 4 would be great.
