Yeah, if you could get double triggers from fetchlands, I’d be super in on this. The damage trigger seems really nice in multiples, but restricted to swamps it’s just a mediocre mono-black payoff.

[card] urborg, tomb of Yawgmoth [\card]
    You can Smile

I don’t see this triggering more than a couple times in a normal game, not to mention it’s quite easy to remove.

Snow cards are really cool and I wish I could just run them, but running snow basics would cost a fortune, and houseruling is annoying when you don’t have the same consistent playgroup. Scrying sheets would have already made me run snow basics if I would ever.

Crucible of Worlds didn't work for us (was only ever a two card combo with Strip Mine), and Ramunap Excavator has been on the chopping block for a long time and only recently saw some significant play. I don't think Wren is better than those two cards.
With Blast Zone, a new fetch and 5 new Horizon lands they are better than ever, but I am still unlikely to play Wren before Crucible.

Wait, do you sincerely think Ramunap Excavator is better than a 2mana planeswalker that is a crucible effect and a pinger?

The fact that redundancy doesn’t make this useless is itself a gigantic plus in comparison to those cards. If I have ramunap and crucible I have one dead draw. If I have wren and crucible I don’t.

Got to test this today in a Green White Aggro Deck.
I played around 18 games with the deck.

Hexdrinker was easily the best card in the deck. Often the best line was to simple play it, and level it as fast as possible, and watch the opponent die. Dropping this on an already developed board and directly leveling it to level 3 was also highly relevant. Knowing which removal spells your opponent plays obviously makes the decision when to level a lot easier.
The reaction of my playgroup was mostly "damn is this pushed", if you ever had to play against TNN + any clone you can imagine how such a game plays out.
I can easily see first picking this card and being pulled into green by it.

(For reference I play a 405 card cube that plays anything powerful besides: AB Moxen, Black Lotus, Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Time Walk and Ancestral Recall)

I think it’s an autoinclude at every size regardless of if you run green aggro, but dang this review is hyping me up even more.

In smaller cubes the graveyard land package is getting a significant bump with this set. Wren and six as well as the 6 sac lands, could some of those land graveyard matters cards be worth looking at again, or were they bad even when enabled?

Might be a card to spec on, eventually we could get cards that make this worth it, but right now cube is enchantment light.

If delve could pay colored mana than hell yeah. Frown I think demanding two creatures on the board kills this in cube.

Dredge one seems like a real good upside to me... I think you are underselling it. If you have a spell only for artifact destruction this seems like the best.

I think this is considerably worse than Abrade, Fiery Confluence, and Goblin Cratermaker, and that's just in Red. You'd really run this over those three and over anything in any other color as well?

Of those I’d only say this competes with abrade, as the other two are not solely artifact destruction, and I might say I like this better than abrade, as flashback on artifact removal is great. Ancient grudge would be played for sure in my cube if it’s flashback wasn’t g.

I like this a lot. I think it’s in the top echelon of swords. The protections are probably the best and if it kills one permanent in a game on average I’d say it’s the best trigger too. I might just be way off here but this is a slam dunk for me

Why do people think this is so good? It has the lowest impact of any sword when it hits. Sure you can draw up some Magical Christmasland proliferate situations, but the average scenario for this sword seems pretty low impact. Also blue protection isn't great. I'm not sure this is even better than Heirloom Blade...

There’s a lot of hyperbole here. There are times where war and peace’s trigger is straight up useless...

But cloning your own creatures is asking to get wrath’d Usually whereas cloning a walker with an additional loyalty can be absolutely backbreaking from ahead.
How do you come back from 2 Ugins?
How do you come back from 2 memory adepts?
How do you come back from 2 Karn liberated?
2x Chandra is hard to get through, 2x dovin, what I’m saying is pretty much any planeswalkers x2 at the same time seems pretty hard to stop.
This is ignoring the extra loyalty, but I feel like writing this off as winmore is not correct, because cloning a walker in a control shell will win you the game, whereas cloning even a great creature can be wasting resources.

Doesn’t clone opponents stuff, which is what I think a lot of people will say makes it uncubeable, but if you have one planeswalker out, you can clone it and some planeswalkers in multiples are absolutely broken, so I could see testing it out.
