but wtf?! 75 dollars ? I know we have not seen the rest of the goodies but what cards will warrant such a high asking price from wizards. Im scratching my head on this one :/
I dont get how people can start backing a game that they have not showed any gameplay or anything. You guys are banking on hype of a product that you have not seen or played with.
Also dont you think that with the sales of ascension they would of saved up some money for this project ? Its like hey guys we have this awesome idea that we know is gonna make us a lot of money if it gets off the ground but we want you guys to pay for it so everything we make is all profit while we give you some silly things so you can feel special while we laugh it off all the way to the bank
I can't currently decide whether to play Avacyn or Griselbrand in my Reanimator deck.
Considering that I have only 6 Black sources (4 Woodland Cemeteries + 2 Swamps) and 12 White sources (4 Pilgrims + 4 Clifftop Retreats + 4 Plains), I decided to try Avacyn because I can hardcast her more comfortably than Brand if needed. My deck needs still a lot of testing tho, so I cant say which one is better.
But there is like 60% of decks using Bonfire in my current local meta, so Avacyn is really promising.
Its true that Vapor Snag > Avacyn, but well, you can Vapor snag either Avacyn and Brand, so ... looking forward to rotation
But if grisebrand gets vapor snagged you can gain card advantage to be able to mount a comeback from your lost turn and if it swings it gains you life ! with avacyn you dont gain anything :/
It'll probably be a little of both,
as they'll only be putting a few preview cards in this.
I wouldn't expect the best Dredge cards,
as they want the decks balanced against one another,
but I would definitely expect a few.
I'm also pretty sure it'll have a bit of reanimation to complement the Dredge,
but again, not so much as to make the deck unbeatable by the Izzet deck.
If it does have graveyard synergies it will probably be a reanimator package because at the mtg panel at comic con Maro stated that the dredge mechanic will not return which was followed by some words of disappointment by few of the crowd.
Sometimes you gotta be real about things. There was no way a Snapcaster mage was gonna be in the vengeance event deck since its in a core set and its catered to beginners or medium level players and giving them a complex card like snapcaster would of been a problem. Also Snapcaster is a money rare that sees plays in all formats and its one of the few reasons people still buy innistrad packs.
What a way to make it uneven, the GW deck provides more bang for your buck and you get so many good cards compared to the sweet revenge deck. I expect the GW deck to fly of the shelves. Also this is gonna cripple the price of thragtusk
due to the big influx of them coming into the market. Good thing I waited I almost pulled the trigger on buying a set at 12 buxs each
I dont think they will include a snapcaster mage since its a chase rare in the innistrad set and it makes people want to buy that set for the chance to pull one. So this talk that its gonna include a snapcaster is bogus. Wizards is smart enough to not put chase rares in event decks.
