Hey guys; I was wondering how each of you handle the issue of missing cube cards within your individual groups. I've only had this happen to me twice; the first time was a foil Terror, I just bought another one cause it was so cheap. This time around, there's 3 cards missing, one of which is $50, so I'm not so inclined to just pony up the dough myself again. I highly doubt that anyone is stealing cards from me (as there are cards worth >4x these in there), but I'm still not exactly in a position where I want to just drop $50 on a foil I already bought time and money into. Do you think its acceptable practice to ask your group to chip in for the missing cards? Obviously I realize every group is different, but I'm curious to hear how you all handle sticky situations like these.
Oh, so the post was deleted while he was issuing the infraction? Hmm... that seems very borderline as far as self-moderating goes. But I'm very glad to know the issue was not as it originally seemed.
Also spam =/= trolling, so that's another issue with the modtext. But alas, my original concern has been answered.
And before someone comes in and tells me "This is not a community issue, take this up with the mod who gave the infraction", I say to you the following:
1) This absolutely is a community issue. This sets a terrible precedent for self-moderating;
2) Its not my infraction anyways, and I'm asking about the practice moreso than the individual infraction.
Hahahhahahaaah "warning given-please avoid conformation bais", the mods here really kill me. I'd love for this to be infracted for spam personally.
You wrote this and then deleted it. Infraction given for trolling. -Kirin
Are we seriously at the point of where we are retroactively un-deleting posts and then infracting users for them? So, if I make a post, realize the error of my ways and delete it immediately, I can still be carded for said post? I've seen quite a bit in my "CI Warrior" days, but this has got to be, by far, the worst.
Both of the links you posted work correctly, and for whatever reason, the main issue seems to be resolved. Idk if this was something from your end, or my recent software update, but thanks for your help!
Presumably they would've just been left on or under a table (fell on the floor while shuffling and no one noticed?). Just misplaced like that.
I have long been looking for the argument for me to get Green Aggro back in my cube and keep it there, and I've finally found it.
