Lots of Slivers in Time Spiral/Planar Chaos/Future Sight could use paper reprints with updated wording technology so I’m so stoked there as well!!!!
They won't change the Slivers to "Slivers you control..." if that's what you mean. That would functionally change how the cards work, and they don't do functional errata to existing cards, even when reprinting.
That is not what I meant. They will now place instances of “permanent”, “any target”, “menace”, “reach” (and anything else I’ve forgotten) where need be with the proper wording.
I always wanted Sliversmith reprinted in paper in some kind of Modern Masters, or some kind of supplemental set so I can finally get my hands on officially released paper Metallic Sliver tokens. Please be in Time Spiral remastered!
I never put it past Wizards to count/put the promised 2020 reprinting of the allied Fetchlands in a Secret Lair as what they meant and say “we’re done!” So I wouldn’t be surprised with Secret Lair: Ultimate Edition 2 as the big reveal. What a sh*tshow that would be.
If I read this correctly, you can still draw a card with the 0 when Jace is on 1 even if it's a 11 mana cost card, right? If so, the kicker copy isn't half bad. Set up the draw with the real card, kill the copy to get what you need.
Correct, by default the only cost in activating a Planeswalker's Loyalty ability is the Loyalty decrease/increase itself. That said, the copy will die.
And yes, you can also do it the other way around. If you need something with a low CMC or a land, you can instead use the copy to set-up and the original to draw for little to no cost.
If this is true then this might create more shenanigans in Standard, much less Pioneer, much less Modern, than I care to think about.
Seeing as the allied Fetchlands are not in Zendikar Rising nor Commander Legends, I’m starting to wonder if Wizards meant Secret Lair: Masters Edition - Allied Fetchlands.
Oh hey, I already have 4 foil Mana Confluences blinging out the deck I’m using them in, but I welcome and will find a place for this different art work Mana Confluence. Going to pick up this in maybe a playset of foils.
MaRo on his Tumblr account recently said Secret Lair are selling very well. That’s why we have dog themed artwork now. I personally like this product line because Secret Lair would really be the only avenue I have of getting alternative art work on certain sought after cards that otherwise would piss off most gamers in any other kind of release.
You can simply let an artist make you alters.
Costs you pretty much the same to commission them yourself and you get a UNIQUE piece of art, instead of this mass produced junk.
I’m not going to play with non-official cards in a certain deck I’ve built.
Thumbs down. Will not purchase. I like the art theme but the price is just unrealistic. $10 Max. I don't think people are going to keep being fooled by the allure of secret lairs. There is a very clear lack of interest and product glut. Every time I talk to my magic friends they are annoyed by wizards product explosion. Store owners I talk to are annoyed too. Wizards you are printing too much! That's the constant consensus.

I might be interested in that Dig Through Time foil single, but I’m leaning towards sticking with the original art, they’re still cheap enough so I don’t have to worry about it.

With probably no concerts in 2021 either (increasingly looking likely), that helps me save money for Modern Horizons 2 and Time Spiral Remastered.
