Quote from UnsafeNormal »At first I started with Grixis Tempo, but the more I look at the synergy I really liked how aggressive Eldrazi Midrange plays out. The general idea for this deck is building up a scary board state in the opening turns, eventually allowing you to run your opponent over in the midgame.
Vile Aggregate is a sleeper, he survives Languish, protects you from early aggro, and only gets stronger as you gain more board presence. Barrage Tyrant went under the radar for me at first, until I saw how he could end a game by tossing any Eldrazi or Hangarback equipped with one or more Ghostfire Blade. As for Swarm Surge, i'm banking on it's ability to force an opponent to block and lose his board, Eldrazi are close or stronger than most creatures for their cost, with +2 attack there isn't much that can block their First Strike and live. Stubborn Denial protects your board state as soon as you get anything over 4 power, which shouldn't be hard.
Not being reliant on tokens means you aren't vulnerable to Virulent Plague(brave thopters aside), and can even include it in your sideboard for token decks.
I'd like to get some card advantage in here somewhere however, though i'm not sure where to fit it.

Don't know how I managed to forget Stubborn Denial, but yeah that's a must. I have a few problems with your list though. Ruination Guide seems ok and I'd be interested in testing him, but I doubt it would be good as a 4-of, but I don't think Vile Aggregate is at all where this deck wants to be. We're not always going to be able to flood the board enough for it to effective. Swarm Surge also doesn't seem good - Brutal Expulsion and Kolaghan's Command are just a lot better. Also with the inclusion of those you're really jammed at the 3 drop spot. Barrage Tyrant seems maybe good as a one of, but even then, I don't think the deck really wants 5-drops, we want to quicker. Dust Stalker is way too good not to be a 4-of. And Fathom Feeder is just another decent card that gives the deck some defense against the inevitable midrange Big Dudes decks, and provides card advantage in the late game.
