Having played the old Magnivore tempo deck back in the day, I feel like Spellheart Chimera is very good. My Grixis build shows potential and is slightly different. That being said. Here's my current list I use on modo:
I think a lot of fans never really got to see Dustin "The Natural" Rhodes in action. He was a big Texas brawler. Him and Steamboat were really good, but when him and Windham joined up, that team was incredible. Dustin knows how to be the big punches and high impact moves wrestler. Which works very well when paired against The Shield. I'm glad to see him taking this serious though. His ring rust is quickly falling off and his stamina has increased since "coming back" for the Orton match. Here's hoping WWE doesn't do the "brothers fighting" storyline after a few months.
Last night's show was gooood. I spoiler my thoughts in case some haven't seen it
-I haven't gotten a read on Ezekial yet. It's obvious he is still possessing Sam (from the previews). My question is though. Didn't season 6 or 7 have the boys show off tats that kept them from getting Possessed, or was that from just Demons)
-I was hoping to get away from the Sam is sick and Dean will do everything to keep his brother storylines.
-Castiel drinking the water for the first time was hilarious. The way he stared at the vending machine...lol
I might put this together for the Classic in Raleigh.
As for Nyx vs Mutavault. The obv answer is Nyx. This should be a 3 or 4 of if (and only if) you are running the 4 BTEs. The deck tech video says it perfectly. Why would you not play a land that gives you the ability (though xmas land) to give you a T2 5 drop? That is insane, let alone the follow up play of a possible:
T1 Forest, Elvish Mystic
T2 Burning Tree into Burning Tree. Nyx. Kalonian Hydra
T3 Use Nyx (7 green mana floating), play another Nyx (12 mana floating) Miscutter Hydra for 11, attack for lethal
Is this Magic Christmas Land? Sure. But the point of decks like this is to have that banana start.
Also wonder if Biomass Mutation should be somewhere in here. Biomass + any creature with +1/+1 counters is just rediculous.
Yeah I think Cena going after that title does 2 things:
1. Brings validity back to that title. To me, that's still the best looking world title.
2. Allows Orton / Bryan to continue this fued for another month.
So I wonder. If Bryan wins the title and Cena wins the title. Will Wrestlemania be used as a Champion vs Champion to create an undisputed champion again.
Personally i'd like to see Castiel somehow restore Heaven (w/ the help of Sam n Dean) and for a special thanks, they give Sam n Dean back their mom, dad, n Bobby.
Yeah it was highly disappointing last night. The main event could have saved the whole show, but the writers screwed that up. No one wants to see a PPV Title match end that way

With double strike the attacks are considered separate. First attack is 8, second is 16 for a total of 24 trampling damage.

Hydra is good, yes. Does it die to removal. yes. But so does EVERY playable/borderline playable 5 drop in the format (besides the new Sphinx). Hydra's main problem is where he is in the curve. Unless you are a Mono Green Aggo or a UG Evolve deck, Stormbreath Dragon (GR Aggro/GR Ramp/Jund/Naya), Blood Baron of Vizkopa(Junk), Archangel of Thune (GW) are all just better 5 drops.
I actually like 7 and 8. The getting away from "bump in the night" and attacking religious angles is far more entertaining. Heaven, Hell, Angles, Demons, etc.
So as always at the beginning of a new Fall standard, a lot of "cute combos" work until the meta is figured out and determined. One of the cute combos me and a friend discussed was Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius" target="blank">Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius and Bow of Nydea allowing you to attack w/ the Dragon and machine gunning your opponent's board. So we thought of a RUG midrange/control shell. Does this combo have potential or is it too cute?
