Okay, I solved this by brute forcing passwords while using the ancient email address, with this post as proof that I actually logged in Grin This can be closed, though I suspect there'll be more users with a similar problem. Since there's no block after a number of failed logins, it's not that hard to gain access once you've figured out the email associated with the account. I guess that should be fixed as well.

Engineered Explosives is very nice. There's always something bothersome you can kill with it, and it keeps you safe from token decks. Tombstone Stairwell is hilarious, as is Karn, Silver Golem. Vedalken Orrery and Shimmer Myr are game-changers.

Specifically for a Voltron deck: O-naginata.

Yeah, the thing is that infinite comboes are pretty frowned upon in my local community.

Okay, then we feel the same about that. Mana Echoes goes infinite with just about everything though. You have Sprout Swarm+Mana Echoes, Woodfall Primus+Ivy Lane Denizen as well.

I don't intend to nudge you in one way or another, but running infinite combo's is quite a statement. Ulasht is quite good at that. Personally I ran a deathtouch pinger control deck without combo. Cloudstone Curio is simply that good.

If you want to explore Deathtouch, I'd suggest Nightshade Peddler. Since it's a creature you can fetch it with something like GSZ.

It's good to see people playing Ulasht. I've played with her as my general for a long time. I think you're running too many creatures. It's a combo deck, not a beatdown deck, or if it is, it's a token beatdown deck. You need colored creatures to go with Ulasht, it's clear that you got that. Generally speaking there are two different types of token makers: mana sinks and ETB or triggered effects. With Mana Echoes, mana sinks (and Sprout Swarmare the way to go. Then there's Nim Deathmantle and Scythe of the Wretched: better with ETB creatures. There's Ulasht for that though, I wouldn't go much further than including Avenger of Zendikar and Mitotic Slime. You're not running that many token makers though, but you've piled some cards that don't do anything on their own together with your token makers. Don't fool yourself: those are the cards to cut (or alternatively, put them in the anthems section, and then you'll see you're running too many buffs).

    Some random suggestions:
    Rampaging Baloths and Perilous forays
Blasphemous Act is great with Vigor
In the web of war is my favorite buff
Eldrazi Monument does something different than your other anthems
Legion Loyalist OK, you shouldn't be running more buffs, but I like this one a lot because it's so cheap
Deathrender: I'd say Sneak Attack, but I assume some budget restrictions are in place (if not: Gaea's Cradle!). Deathrender is the next best thing. If you're running big ETB creatures, you don't want to play premium. And it's great with Greater Good.

You can't run this, but it makes tokens and it's the reason I abandoned Ulasht: Utvara Hellkite and Mirror Entity Grin

But if you give them a bear, you get another opportunity to get a Glissa trigger. If it's not creatures you're scared of, try Deglamer to make sure you really, really get rid of annoying stuff. It's good in these Theros days.

Wouldn't you rather play Beast Within instead of the classic Twister?

Some weeks ago I was thinking I need to run more high impact artifacts. You know, cards your opponents dread they'll be recurred. I figured something like Rings or Strionic Resonator should be worthwhile, but not in my deck (and apparently not in yours either). One of the other cards I was contemplating is Grimoire of the Dead. How is that working out for you? Soul Foundry seems intruiging btw.

I like how your list is low on durdle artifacts with minor effects. I recently added Mind Stone though, and that card is amazing. It's good enough to include if you're not recurring it at all.

I bought an EDH precon on MGTO yesterday, so feel free to add me (Shabbaman everywhere, yet for some reason Shabbamancer on MTGO). I hadn't played in years. No idea when I started, but I seem to have a lot of CoK cards.

Bauble theme to draw cards, high value artifacts to keep myself going, and with salvaging station and trading post I can keep my engine going if I unfortunately lose Glissa for some reason. Add in a mini reanimation and stax package that I don't have to rely on each game, just increase variance while not decreasing win ability.

Be wary of what baubles you pick: if you play too many subpar cards that seem more than decent because you can recur them, you'll end up playing a slow game. For instance, I see Ichor Wellspring in a lot of Glissa decks, but would you play Sign in Blood in other decks?

Salvaging Station and Trading Post aren't in the list you linked to btw.

If you take the Grave Pact route, you'll probably want to run Scarecrone.

I'm sure Glissa Stax is good, but it's not particularly fun to play against. Make sure that is what you want. The good thing about Glissa is that creatures tend to die anyway, so you''ll get your Glissa triggers. The other option you're looking for is a Voltron deck. Now, Glissa is a good card to build your deck around, but she's not particularly good at dealing 21 damage. You could try that road, but it requires many slots you could dedicate to other things. I think the best Voltron strategy is to make her Indestructible, and then continue to wipe the board with Oblivion Stone. That lock strategy is pretty similar to stax, but your opponents keep the option to "do stuff" so it's a bit friendlier.

Another option is to put Glissa in a Grave Pact deck. The interaction between those two cards is obvious. This is the deck I made. Currently I'm very enthusiastic about Blade of the Bloodchief with Mindless Automaton and Tombstone Stairwell.

Don't forget to include some high impact artifacts that are worth recurring. It's easy to overload on cheap cantrips and durdle your way to victory, yet recurring Eldrazi Monument is what butters the bread.

Seeing that you're so happy with Memory Jar: consider Psychosis Crawler. You need big beaters, and this happens to deal additional damage.

Looks good to me. If you pick the suggestions that tickle your fancy and are within your budget, I think you'll be happier with what the deck does and how it plays. The only thing that worries me, from my experience with my own Savra deck, is that you put your opponents in a position where they can't win (because you lock the board with Savra/Grave Pact) while you can't finish the game quickly. That's unfun.

You are running some combo's though, so that helps. In that regard I second the motion to add Perilous Forays, as you can finish the game quickly with that + Avenger + Bloodghast. Perhaps you could run Genesis Wave to make use of all that mana, or maybe Exsanguinate (aka lamest wincon ever). I don't know if it's within your budget, but Lord of Extinction plus Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord can finish games quickly. Both cards have cheaper equivalents, like Xathrid Demon and Lhurgoyf, Boneyard Wurm. Perhaps you don't need that though, that's up to you. Just keep in mind that you need to win eventually, rather sooner than later. Don't build decks that keep you from losing!

Number of sac outlets in deck = 2

Well, that might be on the low side.

I've thought about it, but it makes me nervous to run a card like this. Maybe if I had more in the way of life-gain. Ten Zombies on the board and I'll draw a lot of cards for sure, but I'll be dead in ten turns (presuming I'd managed to stay damage free throughout the game).

If you draw 10 cards, surely you will be able to draw a sacrifice outlet? Also, Gray Merchant of Asphodel is a zombie.

About that Scythe of the Wretched: this is great with Crypt Rats, and Crypt Rats is awesome against opposing token decks. You know what's even better than Scythe+Crypt Rats? Scythe+Crypt Rats+Ogre Slumlord. You get a bunch of tokens and all the creatures.

I don't think Marsh Flitter is a better choice than Endrek Sahr. Don't you think you have enough token producers anyway? Basically all you need is Reassembling Skeleton.

Looking over the list again I think you should run Worm Harvest and Creakwood Liege. You're already running LftL, so Worm Harvest is really great. Just add some cycling lands, and you have a solid draw engine. Oh, and Crop Rotation. Instead of Braids or Magus I'd go for Slum Reaper. You can find that by transmuting Dimir house-guard as well.

Consider Shred Memory: good graveyard hate, it gets vital cards from your deck (Skeleton, Loam) so it gets even good when you don't need it Wink
