I want Green to be included into the Madness deck, the fond memories of chucking Basking Rootwalla, Arrogant Wurm & Roar of the Wurm to Wild Mongrel was a blast and I will always consider Wild Mongrel the key to those Madness decks.
1) My group does not obey the recent change to tucking rules. If a general is shuffled into a library, it does not go back to the command zone. My group consider tucking an acceptable risk in this game.
I think I'm going to ask my group about going back to this, Cards like Oblation and Spin into Myth were staples but now out of most of the decks played.
I hope (but it doesn't look like it) that they print some new ninjas, I had a Ninja deck with Vela at the helm but with only like 8-10 ninjas it fell short cause a lot of the unblock able creatures that could help with ninjutso didn't do enough on there own so late game I would just get rolled over, despite building the deck to take advantage of Vela's leave the battlefield ability, so I scraped it and built U/B Zombies instead. Even with this new commander I just don't think there is enough playable Ninjas to support her but I will get her and try again with that build and maybe have Vela in the 99.
Are there any good white zombies to play? I ask because I already have U/B Zombie deck and despite having troubles sometimes with enchantments, what does white bring to the table to support Zombies besides anointed procession, if anything ?
I'm torn of this subject, while I want to get rid of everything and most of my stuff is in fat pack boxes (always buy one from each new set) going back to the original Ravnica, but my last two decks (Zombies and Warriors) I saved myself about $70 cause I had the cards I needed sitting in fat pack box or cardboard box so you never know when a commander will come along that you want to build around. I do know I need to get rid of a lot of my stuff, I have like 3 long cardboard boxes filled with the original Mirrodin block, 2 long boxes filled with Odyssey & Onslaught block stuff. My cards are organized but I have way too many cards sitting around.
I run Ruination and Volcanic Offering in my Mizzix deck, like stated above certain non basic lands need to be dealt with and no one in my group seems to have a problem with them being in the deck.
Although not a bad commander but also a good supporting card if you are R/G is Ulasht, the Hate Seed, he can pump out tokens and can be a huge beater if you have enough tokens in R and/or G on the battlefield.
I threw Aetherworks Marvel into my deck but I've yet to draw it, our builds are similar except I run a few more planeswalkers. Nice job on foiling it out had to cost a pretty penny.....
I look for generals that do something different then I already have built, I started with the 2011 decks and still have 4 together (Zedruu got changed to Oloro) and I try to avoid using the same colors combinations for my commanders but 4 of my decks are the same colors (Kaalia & Edgar, Mayael & Uril). With 21 decks this is becoming harder to accomplish and I still have 9 precons unopened but one day I'll get around to building the mono color planeswalker commanders.
How about Behind the Scenes for more evasion ? I considering it for my build cause odds are most of our opponents creatures will be to big to block our tokens and if you have extra mana laying around you can pump the tokens, plus I will get the Sanctum Seeker trigger w/o hopefully losing a vamp token. I'm also considering Hidden Stockpile as another sac outlet as we only have to sac a Vamp token to get the trigger then after that the servo can be sac keep our vampires still flowing.
I would not. Both decks can be had for ~$60 (Yidris) and -$70 (Breya) SHIPPED. Assuming you buy for $42 (which I assume would be about $45 after tax?), you've spent $90. If you manage to get $130 for them, you'll lose about $16 to shipping ($8 x 2 unless you luck out and the same buyer takes both and you can combine shipping)and up to 13% in ebay fees which is another $17, which means for your trouble you'll make less than $10. And, I'm not even taking into account any hit you'll take on the beat up boxes, which will eliminate anyone that wants to buy these to keep them sealed or who themselves would be considering their own flip down the road.
If you can sell these locally and in person so as not to get hit with shipping costs and sales/auction fees, perhaps consider it, but you still have to find a buyer for a product that's 10 months old when new products in the same line have just been released.
I completely forgot about shipping and fees, thanks for the reply. I'll still go and see if they are there but probably not get them.

My group pretty much follows the RC rules.
