    Thanks everyone.
Company decks and aggro decks have hit a low. Humans have Meddling Mage and Kitesail Freebooter which keep it strong against phoenix. Been attending every event I could in my area and I just feel as decks shift to expecting the Phoenix match game 1, we gain the advantage. Weather just game one or through an overall favored match up since old decks are showing up again expecting just to play against phoenix. (prison, taxes, chalice)
It's pretty rough out there and I keep going back and forth between my other decks so I don't get discouraged playing elves. My Current plan is unusual but has been showing success. I cut 4 Company, 2 Chords, 2 Visionaries, and 1 Nettle Sentinel and I bring in 2 Choke, 2 Shapers' Sanctuary, 2 Trophy, 1 Dismember, 1x Scavenging Ooze, 1x Burrenton Forge-Tender.

Newly trying to cut Collected Company. They are very proficient at keeping us off 4 mana while bringing in dispels anyway. 2 chords stay in since most players don't expect a spell with access to 0 mana. Cut two Visionaries and a nettle to make room.
I bring in 2 choke on the chance it might(unlikely) win me the game plus restricting their mana and forcing them to play different can win a game. 2 Shapers' Sanctuary is pretty great in this match. Thing in the Ice is the main reason I lose this match after their impressive board control so I bring in 2 Trophies and 1 dismember. Also I bring in an Ooze to remove faithless looting or hit a phoenix. Almost all Phoenix list play 0-1 Anger of the Gods and no Snapcasters so I am bring in the single Burrenton Forge-Tender for Chord.

I usually get a lot of mixed opinions on my lists since I am not playing Lead the Stampede with Shaman and Chord of calling with Devoted Druid. I'm playing Chord with Heritage Druid like the combo elves. With this mindset, I do manage to drop my hand more often than most elf players game 1 which lead to more consistent wins in my opinion. Modern Horizons will most likely bring some new elves but possibly unlikely to see Wirewood Symbiote since to make it a draft-able set, it would need a bunch of new elves. Hope someone can gain from this information.

    Thanks a lot!
Do you think you could give me an example of when it might not be possible to put it on the stack?

I was told there was an update to detrimental triggers such as Summoner's Pact trigger? Can't seem to find the post online and I know it was relatively recent update.
I was basically told if you missed a pact trigger in comp REL, the trigger is put on the stack immediately, once a player realizes the miss happened. Pay if if they choose but if they can't they lose. Being they might be midway in resolving something else when it was realized.

Could someone inform me better on the update or link me to where I can share it with others?
    Thanks!

I started with the Red for Abrade about 6 weeks ago. Being still pretty new I switch to white from red, after a lot of my LGS players started playing the phoenix deck for the Path to Exiles mostly. White is probably the strongest color to run against these decks. But I'm kinda leaning towards Black for Assassins Trophy since the positives outweigh the negatives I think in favor of Assassin's Trophy over Abrade as I no longer feel a need for Firespout. I really think the land they gain from Assassin's Trophy or Path to Exile is a minor backlash while we are hopefully on a faster plan.

Not looking to stir up any debate but as the red for Abrade doesn't seem worth it. I only felt the white was worth it for Path to Exiles and unless I'm playing against the hot new phoenix deck, I really like the Trophys instead of abrades while also playing 2-3 Memoricide to give me chance against annoying combo decks like Ad Nauseam or Storm. The overall plan of the deck doesn't change. Just how we interact with the opponent. So I'm really enjoying myself playing Black for now.. instead Red of course.

Anyone here talking about Growth Spiral? I'm still really in favor of Explore right now and an instant speed explore sounds great to me. Wording on it is important since its not actually an additional land too.

@daviusminimus - Thanks! That was very insightful and I pretty much agree. Much like its functional but competitively, black doesn't bring enough. I like Beast Within but and I respect its power when I played it with Elves lol. But I personally wouldn't for its high cost and the 3/3 that comes with it. Preference though. Firespout is definitely a more efficient board sweeper but having that extra EE allows me to be a little more aggressive with it early. I'm not sold on the triple EE yet but I don't mind putting EE on 2 if I expect a Damping Sphere. Plus Academy Ruins is sweet. Still Running Red for 3 Abrade, should be okay against Pithing Needle effects and Meddling Mage.. I hope.
Thanks a lot! Wasn't sure how active it is around here.

    Anyone considered black?
Recently I cut the last firespout in favor of a second EE in the sideboard. I enjoy it but I kinda only run red for Abrade and Slayers' Stronghold. Anyone ever considered playing black instead of red? Recently watched a stream with White Amulet.

Pretty new to amulet titan and not sure if changing from red to black would be worth it but it seems fine to swap the abrades for Assassin's Trophys.

Anyone here running Trinket Mage? Locals in my area are currently running 2-3 Mages with an extra EE instead of Explores and Adventurous Impulse.

    Hello!
Recently bought into the deck and still enjoying it. Trying to learn as much as I can about it. Can anyone link me to a streamer or video of recent Amulet titan?

Also the invite above to the discord has expired. Where can I get a new one?

Been a long time since someone posted here. I still work on this deck from time to time. A lot of fun. I have a lot of Success with Day's Undoing. Numerous amount of ways this card helped me. Hurts to resolve New Perspectives and you don't have 7 card in hand. Gives you the ability to refill your hand and kill your opponent at their upkeep.

Also I'm a big fan of Traverse the Ulvenwald but not sure if it's truly worth it.

Hello! Return from Syracuse Open. Mostly wanted to make a quick post about my experience. I ended up losing my three rounds early in actual open. I didn't take any notes so I don't plan to post a breakdown. But overall, I felt I just got really unlucky. Most of my matches were non-interactive decks like Affinity, Merfolk, Spirits and others. The games i lost, I really felt they just happen to have gotten a faster clock than me. I ended the open round 7 but not upset. All my opponents played their deck well but I feel they just had a faster clock or I kept safe hands expecting Mardu or what not. Meanwhile there was a very large amount of U/W Control, Tron, Titanshift but I didn't get matched against them. I feel I just got unlucky in my loses and really wanted to try again in the classic the following day. In the classic I lost round 2, round 4 and ended 6-2 and got 23rd. Lost to Kevin Jones round 2 but both games I mul'd to 5 on the play and then I lost to Spirits round 4 with well times paths and a very strong clock on his side. I felt Elves were very well positioned the entire time. Aside from KCI and how terrible regular Gx Tron can be but very pleased.

Saw a sweet elf deck that made 14th in the classic.

Made 23rd myself but they only post to top 16 in a classic so here's my random SCG IQ with same 75.

Haven't looked at the top 32 for the Open when I posted this.

Hello! Wanted to share my bad beats and maybe someone knows something I do but damn did I have some bad beats against U/W Miracles.
Last weekend I went to an IQ and I did very well. Considering I was matched up against my local tron player who's deck is triple sleeved and fully foiled round 3 and I managed to win using my patent pending technique of having the tron player mul to 4 on the play game 2. It was a very shiny game since hes the Tron player with the foil'd deck and I'm the elf player with the foil'd deck. lmao! But i did win the match. Followed by my first lost against tron right after. This is not the bad beats. The bad beast is how I continued to win up to the top 8. Lost to U/W Miracles which is basically playing Terminus instead of Supreme Verdict which is all I really care about. Kinda gave him the win game 1 due to lack of knowledge of what he was playing. Game 2, I cast Stain the Mind naming Terminus which really helped but it was to late. And I was just testing Stain the Mind but its the only answer I can think of for terminus. Continuing on, Me and some buddies drive 2 hours south to another IQ and round 1 I got matched against the same U/W Miracles deck and player. Unlucky but i'm ready this time but he did get me good. game two I had the nut hand and he accidentally turn 2 Terminus. Accident cause there was no scry effect for it. We joked about how He was the last one i played and the first one i played 2 hours south. both 50 plus people. I'm ready to move on from this. I don't let myself get put on tilt. Round 2 I joke to my opponent how I just got done playing so-and-so twice in a row before round 2. He tells how they know he each and drove down together. By turn two, i see hes playing the same List. So 3 rounds of the same miracles deck. Jeez... Game one I kept a great one lander but i ended the game with maybe 12 of my 18 lands. 1 being a cycled horizon canopy. Just unlucky but he did eventually terminus on turn 500. Deck drew poor. Game 2, I sided the same again with stain the mind but i had a turn 2 company. so i did it. and yes... he did terminus on his turn one with a basic plains and no scry effects. All of this its purely a coincidence and we all joked about it. But starting that IQ 0-2 really hit me hard. plus my buddies kept me there so i continued to play. i left and i was 3-2 but whatever. bad beats.

So U/W Miracles is a deck and I wasn't ready for it. Made my fecundity look like joke card. I am already playing choke and right now I like the 2x Stain the mind. Anyone wanna share what they would do?

Thanks for letting me rant. Hope nobody minds. All elf related and nobody else wants to hear bad elf beats and sorry for any typos.

Hello! Thought I would just share my opinion on Elvish Clancaller so far. I was pretty excited about this card when it was spoiled. However, my testing with this card has been kinda mediocre. To give context, I currently run Chord/Shaman build with a light white splash for creatures in the sideboard and having Elvish Clancaller in the Elvish Visionary spot. Decided to test in that slot for the main reason that I won't cut Ezuri, Archdruid, or SOP while Dwynen's Elite has more synergy with Shaman of the Pack. It has its moments where it was nice but I actual didn't feel my specific build needed more lord effects. Vanilla Lord effects(doesn't provide anything else). I didn't feel like I wanted a Visionary at the times I had Clancaller, I just feel Visionary would have been more impactful. My thoughts are, Elvish Clancaller might be better suited in the Dwynen's Elite slot meaning a build not playing four Shaman of the Pack.

My opinion here might be completely wrong or not super helpful since I did my testing with a Shaman build playing Chord instead of Lead the Stampede.

    Greetings.
Sometime has past and I was wondering if anyone actual feels Damping Sphere is worth the slots?
I Kinda came to the conclusions that Damping Sphere as a card will hurt tron enough to hopefully see it less often. For now, it's still a match that I won't dedicate sideboard slots for.

Also, Been seeing Melira, Sylvok Outcast played in a few elf sideboards again. Is she worth it again? Kinda feel spellskite and some spot removal against infect is fine. I personally don't like dedicating sideboard slots for one specific match.
