Some pretty solid limited cards. The Goblin Flectomancer looks like it could be fun, as does the AEtherplasm. I'll have to re-read the others a few more time for them to sink in.
Why do people have to keep dissing the guildmage? It's not his fault he's so ugly. Guildmage's have feelings to you know. And damn if he doesn't have a great ability.
It's a good common for limited. A 1/3 flier for 3 seems pretty solid to me. You don't have to worry about it dying to easily, it's great for blocking all those pesky token creatures, and you can possibly get a solid hit it occassionally.
It will be great because your opponent will have to think twice when looking at your creatures that your attacking with and decide whether or not to block the 3/3 creature or the 1/3 that possibly become a 3/3 or larger creature. This will be lots of fun at the Pre-Release.
Personally I think the card will be a bomb in Limited. 3 flying cratures for 6 mana, that's just great.
As for Last Gasp, there 5 different B cards that will bring creatures either back to your hand or back into play.
Odds of getting one of these cards are just as good as getting a Last Gasp. So if they use Last Gasp on the Vampire, I'll still have two 1/1 flying creatures, and I have a good chance of having a way to get the Vampire back into the game.
The Djinn looks good, but I don't see it getting a whole lot of play outside of the limited format. It's just too expensive. Cool Pre-Release card however, I like the artwork.
Definately looking like House Dimir for me. I just love the thought of disrupting my opponents hand, library , and permanent. What could be more fun... for me?
I'm just going to say that I wouldn't be upset if they did a functional reprint of Psionic Blast as a Blue/Red Hybrid card... I'm just sayin'... just throwing it out there...
Again more really nice art. I'm very impressed. It looks like the Mountain consists of buildings built into the side of a volcano (is that a lava flow in the lower right corner?).
The Swamp is amazing. Nothing like the underbelly of a city, complete with what looks like homeless people.
I especially like the fact that the Plain appears to be a governmental/business district. You can just look at it and imagine there being banks, court houses, and office buildings for politicians.
As was mentioned earlier the Island does have a Venice feel about it. It also give the feeling of commerce. You can look at the picture and imagine that the boat being used to ship goods.
Overall I think that the artists did a great job creating the feel for White and Blue on a world that is enirely covered in a city environment.

Thanks R_E!
The goblin on the other hand sound like it might be a little bomb if the costs are right.

Shattering Spree will most likely find a home in a lot of sideboards in extended.
and
Angel of Depair is definately goig to be a limited bomb.
I can't wait to get them in my grubby little hands.
I just can't wait for the pre-release.

It's gonna be a great pre-release!
