glad I read the article.

Mechanics look like mostly re-runs. New counters seem like extra work. Just turn the card upside-down for the doubletap ability?? use regular pennies/whatever for the bricks since they will likely be on noncreature artifacts? (I know the trend is always to complain, sure, but I can't imagine being excited for refined mechanics rather than new ones even if I did play this game religiously).

can't see the starting loyalty on either, however.

What? The "spell" he wrote doesn't mention having a hand of seven. Said card was an amalgamation of two madness R burn spells and one 1R card that would both activate madness and draw cards, hence the cost and effect. The implication (that you should play this as a madness enabler) has nothing to do with having seven cards in hand...

Is incredible. What an amazingly varied limited environment.

The assumption is that the cards that interact with drafting are not going to be legacy legal, meaning they can print a prismatic land or lands with some combo of basic land types or color-fixing without enraging anyone by adding "draft this face up."
There are also potentially interesting reprints like Exotic Orchard and stuff either based on or improving (as a downside) what others control.

Could the black flash enchantment be this? They can't kill enchantments and Deed is a pretty black effect.
