Sol Ring mainly gets printed in EDH precons because it's one of the best cards in the format and Wizards wants to make sure new players can get them. It's not the best thing to base cards off.

Food, so far, isn’t very exciting.
Technically I called him a Neo Nazi cosplayer, and as he's released photos of him wearing an Iron Cross, the description is pretty accurate.

But as his political views are very right wing and he has repeatedly associated and worked with white nationalists (even going to karaoke with Richard Spencer), yeah, I'm comfortable calling him at least Neo-Nazi adjacent.
I'm also comfortable calling him a paedophile and a swindler.

Can we go back to talking about Oko now?

Food is a subtype which appears on printed cards and on tokens. "Sacrifice a [subtype]" is the standard wording.

I'm sure someone is going to break Gilded Goose in EDH but I'm not that person.

Interesting card. We know food is an artifact because MaRo said on his Tumblr, so we know that whatever Food actually does, Oko can +2 and then -5 the Food away to get a creature from the opponent.

Maybe that ties into Adventure cards?

Because blue is the colour of both transmutation and non-creature solutions, but green's key weakness and simultaneous strength is an (over?)reliance on creatures. So blue having a non-permanent spell that can pop one opposing creature and give its controller another creature fits the theme.
