Earlier, we rejected your society. We saw in you an inflexibility to do the rational thing, and opted for exile so that we could live our own way. Some of our members were zealous, and launched an attack on your land against a perceived threat. To some, it seemed like we were an enemy. But now it's a little easier to see that we weren't chasing shadows... something in mtgnews had become corrupt already, and we just realized it a little sooner than you did.
But now, in your time of crisis, we come to aid you for two reasons. First, we share a common enemy, and do not want to see our ancestral home desecrated. Second, this time of transition gives us a chance to reach a comprimise between our two cultures, creating a unity that was impossible before.
That's why we're here. Actually, it's hard for me to speak for everyone. But it's part of why I'm here. The other reason is I've had a lot of spare time lately. : p
