I'm playing a game in which my opponent has played Whip of Erebos and has 1 creature in play. I play humility, which turns the creature to a 1/1. Does it still have lifelink? Will his future creatures have lifelink if this one does not? Kind of confused as to how this works out. Thanks for any advice.

So I just picked up the Jund 2013 Commander deck, and while I'm going to play it as is for a little while, I like the idea of sacrificing/reanimation enough to want to upgrade it at some point. Any ideas for specific cards/new generals that could make it better? Thanks for any advice.

Awesome, thanks a lot everyone. I know the Wolf card was mentioned as a finisher. Any other good finishers I should know about? I know a lot of my creatures are big as it is, but I feel like the deck is also missing the big bombs to win, especially with all this mana I should supposedly be able to make.

I definitely like the idea of your deck, but I'm trying to keep it a little cheaper (don't have the Explorations or Crucibles). I like the Kudzu card, that will undoubtedly go in.

Was in the mood to put back my old Zendikar landfall deck, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas to make it better/more interesting. I believe the old deck was something like this:

Of course there were more cards to fill it out, but that was the gist of it. Any suggestions? Any newer cards that would fit (or older for that matter)? Thanks for any input.

    My: Mutavault x1
    Chandra, Pyromaster x1

    His: Baneslayer x2

I have a bad feeling Chandra's gonna go up soon. Would it be more fair if I got 2-3 shocklands instead? He has a bunch for trade as well.

Myself and a couple friends are going to do a sealed with some older sets. I already have 7x Tempest and 4x Alliance, so I still need 7 more. Any ideas for a set that might fit well or just be interesting to draft along with these? I'm trying to keep it relatively old (like Pre-Ravnica), and relatively inexpensive (no Arabian Nights, please). Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks for the land deck advice, I think that deck is almost complete.

I took a look at the stax thread, and it does seem pretty close to what I was looking for, but are there any that use Balance/Winter Orb? I'm only bringing up those cards because the deck I'm remembering wasn't exactly like the stax decks. But either way thanks for the tips so far.

To go with my most recent ides (artifact/white), I just came across some Balances, Land Tax, and Winter Orbs. I know there are decks out there that use these together as a sort of control deck, but do any of you have some decent deck lists? Thanks.

Just went to my target, they had the two pack as Time Spiral and Scourge. Also had Odyssey pre-cons (?). Oh well.

I have to agree that XIII was garbage. Great graphics couldn't cover up a poor story and boring gameplay. Let's just make up a bunch of words that sound alike with a bunch of annoying characters, and set them on an adventure that is just corridor after corridor of linearity. There have been some decent FF's on handhelds, but most the time I just go back to IV-IX or the tactics games.

That deck looks pretty interesting too.

What I was talking about though was a mainly artifact deck (Winter Orb, Icy Manipulator, etc..) that used Armageddon and then sort of controlled the game in that way (not sure how successful these decks are, or if there are any decent deck lists). Still, I appreciate all the input.

Ok, I'll have to ponder over some of this.

On a semi-related note, what a about an Armageddon/artifact deck? Are there any decent decks like that? More of a control type theme?

Thanks for all the great suggestions so far. I'm thinking G/R looks the best right now. I saw under creatures you think there's much better stuff out there. Beside Avalanche Riders, do you guys have any other ideas? Like I said -and I know it's a pain- but I'd like to stick to relatively older cards. This isn't 100% necessary, I'd just prefer it.

I've been in the mood to make a land destruction deck lately, but want to keep it to relatively older cards (MM and earlier, don't ask why). But I just wanted to get some suggestions.

Also, I figure W/R would be a good way to go, but I'm up for other ideas.

Besides things like Armageddon and Crucible of Worlds as obvious choices, what else should go in? Stone Rain? Thanks for any help.
