@AI
From what I understand, you as SK will win if and only if you are the last player remaining. That being the case, why would you care if we lynch you? Claiming, in your case, is effectively excusing yourself from the game. And so,
Vote: AlphaInsidious
I'm certainly not excusing myself from the game, but I am being realistic about the situation. I was on the verge of being lynched already and I have no illusions of winning at this point -- I've been copped.
That's not to say that I can't be of value to the game though. The town can certainly lynch me and not get anything out of it; or they can allow me to shoot at a suspect while keeping me at arms' length.
AI pushed the LoT lynch in opposition to Eron, when the only way that makes any sense from a mafia perspective is if Eron was a mafia power role and Eron/AI were trying to get town credit lynching a goon.
Or AI is our SK. Because it's not me.
Welp, guess there's no point drawing this out any further.
As I said, I am Henry Clay, and yes, I am the SK. My flavor is essentially that I ran for President and lost 5 times, but won't stand for that any longer, picking this year to rise to ultimate power.
I shot Cyouni last night...the reasons should be pretty obvious considering my role.
Obviously you guys aren't going to be thrilled about this, but I do think I can still be useful to the town. I'll shoot whoever you guys want tonight if you leave me alive. The caveat being that you need another lynch target today.
I had a very enjoyable time playing this game; it was a welcome return to mafia here for me, and I have to commend Zinda on his design, story, and moderating as usual. You continue to stake your claim as perhaps my favorite game mod.
I'm a bit bummed that I was killed when I was, particularly because I didn't understand the reasoning in the scum QT, because I was planning on going after Caex the next day. I had targeted him the night I died with the intention of finding him as vulnerable to my kill.
Ah well, it was a wonderful game nonetheless that was well-played from all sides!
I'm going to claim a portion of my role and that is that I Copped AlphaInsidious last night. The result did no favors to him. Either AlphaInsidious is a part of the Mafia or he is the SK.
Wow. I don't know what to say exactly, but you are certainly barking up the wrong tree somehow. It's either a cop result gambit on your part (has happened to me in the past) or you are getting false information back.
Did your result or role give you any indication that you could be insane or paranoid?
AI always has weak D1s. We should give him at least until mid D2 to impress us.
What are you classifying as weak, exactly? You're pretty much getting what you can expect from me in general...waiting me out isn't going to make me a prolific poster.
That being said, it's a good thing you put on your shades since I suppose it's my task now to blind you with my excellence?
AlphaInsidious may have weak Day 1's, but this game is an exception to that rule.
How so? I don't understand what you're implying...
Clearly you think I'm scum, so then how does that line up with this game being an exception to my usual meta?
On a wide level, I don't support a mass name claim without confirmation that someone I'm reading as town has mechanical reason for us to do so.
Namely because I've designed games, as well as seen games that can greatly swing in mafia or an SK's favor after all names are out in the open.
Not to mention that one possible town role that would benefit the town from a mass name claim is already dead. That lowers the odds of it actually helping.
On a personal level, I'm not very far away from having to claim anyway, so obviously I'd be a different story.
You are very eager to know why you are name-claiming, but not interested enough to refuse Seppel. Why are you so interested in appeasing the request of one person?
Because the request came from town, so complying is helping a townie to further their understanding of the game. That can only help the town. I'm eager to know why simply because it bothers me that people are seeing things that I'm not, and it's a bit frustrating to me that I can't figure it out.
If so, I think it could indicate a scum/scum conversation, where Tresserhorn slips while talking with his buddy about a townie.
But I'm wary of talking more about it and I'd like to see Tresserhorn respond to it.
For those who are not voting AlphaInsidious you need to be.
This is not a new revelation; it's been brought up already against me.
Though it is worth noting that I was very much cluing into LoT's acceptance of Seppel as town when that conversation started. His obviously informed response was exactly what I expected/wanted to see, and I don't believe it mattered who he was talking to, since he gave me that same impression without talking to me specifically, but put off that vibe in general.
Then you'd clearly mix up Tom and TeH JeY too, since "T" is a dominant part of each name.
Okay, so now you're just being abrasive, Seppel...
Note that I didn't call you swishh.
You're taking a one-time instance and trying to extrapolate it into something that I should then be doing every time I talk about a player, which is ridiculous.
Upon review some of his early posts I didn't mind, but really most of the game he hasn't been doing much. 18 posts so far and some of them are fluff.
The bolded is particularly what triggered my response. Perhaps I'm being overly sensitive from having to answer these accusations every game - but I always do my best to make my limited posts count and to say I haven't really been doing much is where I took exception.
Maybe we have different definitions of fluff, but I was pointing out that not only do you have just 18 posts (the smallest number of anyone that hasn't died or replaced out/in... and some of the people that died on day 1 still have more than you) but some of those posts are content-less, such as the following spoiled ones:
No, I'd say we have the same definition; I just don't consider 3 out of 18 posts to be anything significant.
And again, I certainly understand the issue with my low post count, but that's never determined alignment in my case. I've been on this site for a long time, played many games, and you'll find me in the bottom quadrant of every post count in virtually every game I've played.

Yep, and my individual judgement says Wessel was correct.
Let me check my Guardman mafia manual (thanks AlphaSheeps) real quickly...
Yup.
vote Tom
So you know my feelings on the FOS theory then? I've yet to see any statistics backing up Guardman's stance -- it all appears to be tunneled from his own experiences.
AlphaInsidious - Upon review some of his early posts I didn't mind, but really most of the game he hasn't been doing much. 18 posts so far and some of them are fluff. What particularly bothers me is the stuff in the spoiler below.
Not really much to respond to here. I'm not a prolific poster - never have been and likely never will be. I do make sure to keep fluff posts to a minimum though - mainly limited to the RVS - so I think your comment on that is a mis-characterization.
When I do post, I endeavor to make them count since my mafia time is scarce.
Your first spoilered note is what now looks a slip from LoT, while I was questioning his motive for claiming. Nothing to say here really that I didn't back then. I saw it as strange how easily LoT backed down from not wanting to claim and pressed him on it.
That Wessel saw it as a scum/scum conversation is incorrect, but that's not an accusation that's possible to debunk which means individual judgment on my play has to be used.
As to the 2nd note, I sure hope you don't have the misfortune of mixing up 2 players' names. Wouldn't want this glass house to break.
Oh, you guys didn't know? We have 3 AIs in this game.
Until you send a PM to the wrong one
In 0 games if that ends up mattering.
Ahem.
Bah. Bah bah bah bahbah. Bah bah bahbah bah bah bahbah bah bah baaaaaah.
BAH bahbahbah bah bah bah. Bah bah bah bahbah bahbah bah bah!
Bah-da bah bah bah bahbah bah bah BAH! Bah-dy bahbahbahbah baaaah. Bah bah bah bah bahbah bah bah bah bah bahbah bah.

Yeah, I wasn't Cythare...I'm not a replacement in this game.
Nope, that would be Ganderin_Dan.
That's all I was looking for. I am Henry Clay.
What are you classifying as weak, exactly? You're pretty much getting what you can expect from me in general...waiting me out isn't going to make me a prolific poster.

I hadn't guessed!
How about LoT and Tyzmo, as I was calling them? With "T" being the dominant part of each name?
So you know my feelings on the FOS theory then? I've yet to see any statistics backing up Guardman's stance -- it all appears to be tunneled from his own experiences.
As mentioned, you're not saying anything. Does the fact that he's a doublevoter change your vote? Since it doesn't appear to, why not?

Why is this the first we heard this apprehension from you -- after Seppel had posted the action? You were on the wagon, and defiant about it to RR.
Yeah, so that's not how it works. Do you think all scum always push town wagons?
