4 Inquisitor's Flail
3 Prophetic Prism
3 Avacyn's Collar
3 Vampire Nighthawk
2 Underworld Connections
4 Ultimate Price
3 Desecration Demon
24 Swamp
4 Gravecrawler
2 Sever the Bloodline
2 Tragic Slip
2 Typhoid Rats
and i think only 1 boros charm.
but yes had i pulled one.. i would have played it cause blue needs it.
tap add X/X to your pool. X/X = your 2 guild colors. use this mana only to play guild affiliated spells (watermarked spells)
so basically it can tap for w/r b/u r/g etc
as long as it was legendary, it would be strong, but limited enough not to be broken.
won 2/0 (simic)
won 2/0 (gruul)
lost 1/2 (dimir/simic)
won 2/0 (gruul)
lost 0/2 (simic)
1: MVPS = Ghor-Clan Rampager, Legion Loyalist, Daring Skyjek
2: Angelic Edict - for that price I thought it was an instant, even tried to cast it as one.. thankfully the opponent caught the mistake and let me know so I didnt do it agian.
3: Court Street Denizen - it went nice with my x2 Skyknight Legionnaire, and I also didnt have access to much removal, so every bit helped.
Truefire Paladin was also pretty damn good.
I think I did damn good specially since I didnt get any huge bombs like gideon or the angels.
oh and I did run the red primordial.. he was really good too. i cast him 2 out of the 3 times I had him in hand. and both times i did cast him it flat out won me the game or turned it to my favor significantly.
x4 Army Loyalist
x4 Beastmaster Ascension
x4 Memnite
x4 Ornithopter
x4 Dryad Arbor
maybe the new boros charm or simic charm to give your army hexprof or indestructible for protection.
specially with Whispersilk Cloak in EDH.. mwahaha
its just after all a 5/5.
the dimir guy is really strong, he is insane for EDH. unfortunatly standard/modern/legacy is dominated by smaller creatures and there isnt many impressive creatures to shapeshift into. and its not really worth a SB slot to side in vs decks that run huge fatties..
but I still dont think its that good of a card.
how often do you think it should be done?
one new creature type per block?
to me this seems ok, but it takes time to develope flavor and character for any given creature type.. thats why goblins and elves are popular.. they have been around a long time and had a chance to develope a personality.
ask a magic player what turtles do in magic.. "uh idk I guess they just block good" thats because there are so few and where never really given flavor or style.
anyway back on topic.. would you be in favor of a whole block with nothing but new creature types.. (or less used types at least). give the old elves and goblins a rest. let some other creatures types try and get a little spot light..
if you WOULD NOT want to see a goblinless/elfless set.. are you trying to say you wouldnt play magic if it wasnt for elves and goblins?
I know a few people who wanted beebles to be huge.. they are a loved creature type.. why hasnt more been done with them?
also I understand the argument goblins & elves sell cards..
but the same could be said about any flavorfull race with intresting personalities/abilities.
it can loop cyclonic rifts, fogs, or temporal mastery
using archeomancer
very fun with all the aggro running around.
also runs a few PWS
it is weak vs direct damage. so SB accordingly
sooo I think i'll get a turkey BLT with a little bit of mayo and black pepper. and a cherry coke.
subways bacon is sooo thin and overpriced though I wish they would step up their bacon game a little.
