and add in mana leaks

for prereleases and such, the store I play at just dont allow backpacks or binders, or anything really.. no bringing in any cards, binders, etc..
basically he just makes everyone keep all their crap in the cars until after.
(its a very small shop in the middle of nowhere, if anyone is wondering)
U/W first - pulled awesome removal.. x2 tides, a cant be counters wrath, Az charm, arrest, arrow.. yeah thats insane!! but sadly no good creatures to back it up. the best creature in blue/white i seen was the prerelease card and that costs 7 :(.. i had to resort to using a minor enchantment theme various enchantments + those ones that give +1/+1 for each enchantment and FS.. and I used the 1/1 double striker and a few random flyers. even with my sweet removal I lost.
(side note: Righteous Authority rocks)
next I played G/W.. MUCH better, pulled a foil Growing Ranks (went nice with grove promo) also had tons of tokens (mostly an army of 3/3 thanks to x2 Centaur's Herald and various populate, also pulled a Deadbridge Goliath in my colors.. still lost overall. but this deck was a lot more fun and interactive. in one game i had x6 3/3's and x3 8/8's (side note: Druid's Deliverance and Rootborn Defenses ARE LIFE SAVERS lol)
now that I think back,, a few of the times I lost (other then mana screw) where because of life gain.. one game he gained mass amounts of life off of a Daggerdrome Imp that was pumped with Corpsejack Menace and scavage.
then another player cast a Swift Justice on their grove token wich gave them a huge life boost.
so maybe life gains the way to go
well of course.. if limited is fun stores sell more packs,, stores sell more packs = wizards sells more boxes.
type 2 is more aimed at the younger crowd, and the younger crowd does not truely understand or enjoy LD, counter/control, and to a lesser extent.. good removal, and its importance..
so good. 4/4 for 4 is already worth it. and to possibly wrath when it dies. hope its only an uncommon so I have a better chance to see one in limited
it should be very clear they want creature vs creature games.
gone are the days of LD, control, combo, "good" reanimater, etc
limited is full of cheap aggro.
he can trade with most commons, decent swinger, gains life
there has been a mouse and a rat on giant growth art.. maybe a giant pack rat? lol
kinda odd since there are no green rats..
kinda like a mix between the signets and the totems
sure HS does not reduce HIS cost.. but once you have both of them in play your looking at cutting quit a bit of cmc off of your guys/
yes but there are a lot of equal/larger flyers and plenty of smaller flyers around
so they probly felt pretty comfortable printing it. most decks can either deal with it or gang block it in a pinch.
had the current type 2 not had so many flyers around.. then sigarda would have seen way more play already
honestly im not sure why people didnt play her befor rotation (or now) because shes good any way you look at it.
you red guys just got a sweet dragon in m13...
anyway still not a single G/W card I want for my EDH deck yet
(well other then the g/w shock land)
that elemental is pretty awsome actually.. (for legacy)
drop him turn one.. any spell after that your opponent tries to counter.. munch munch munch..
