    Blue & Green.
Whether its a green aggro ramp, blue control, blue aggro (Ula's Temple FTW), GU mix, I love 'em all.

Also, I recently got addicted to slivers. I love swarms, and they do it like no ones business.

I just picked up a singleton wrexial for 1.99, so I'd say grab a copy, he's sick as heck lategame when they have godlevel cards in the grave.

    This is my test build.
If you look at it, you have 12 1 mana spells, and 8 2 mana spells.
All my monsters come into play with Ula's Temple, so they're free.
Thus, less lands are needed. (except for cancel, but thats only 1 more)
I use brainstorm, ponder, to pull out Ula's Temple as quick as possible. (Not to mention mulligan till 5 if need be)

The counterspell/cancel are only there to save the temple, and if absolutely necessary, to block wrath of god or some other BS card.

I cannot stress how awesome hesitation is. It doesn't really affect your gameplan at all, since all your monsters are put into play, not played, it can't block them (it stops you from pondering and brainstorming) but the opponent knows their next card will die, so they wait till they have something they are willing to sac, before they play something good, and you counterspell that something good afterward XD. It buys time for Ula to get her 3 counters, and kills something. Talk about awesome.

Monsterwise, Inkwell, Simic, Tidal, and Grozoth are my main attackers, with Wrexial providing some late game hax, and Lorthos beating/potentially using his ability late game. Nemesis of reason is an alt. win condition, and potentially kills major assets, plus sets up wrexial in a huge way, theres nothing like milling ten and stealing what was milled at the same time!
Kederekt is just there for if things go SUPER BAD! Like you will die bad. Since he resets Ula, he is really a last resort. But if your opponent has less than 5 life then it makes an amazing finisher.

In testing, the deck works fairly well, getting huge beaters out quick, while protecting Ula and going for an aggro win.

Honestly, I might try the deck with even less lands due to the noland free mulligans, cause 3 lands is all I need to access all the spells, and more monsters/counters means more ownage.

EDIT: If your group lets you use proxies, 4 mana drain would be amazing, and lead to turn 6 kills. Its leftover mana ability means that the Lorthos you drop on turn 4 has his 8 colorless to use his ability, and (from what I understand) it activates before blockers are declared, so you tap out all their creatures and keep their lands from untapping, swing for 8 turn 5, and then getting another biggie out at your end, watching your opponent unable to do anything, getting another biggie, and swinging for like 25.
    Crazy awesome.

Okay, so 4 crab is a must.
So, from older sets, what besides blue has good mill?
And are there cards that can force my opponent to search their library, thus triggering archive trap?
I assume nature's lores and stuff like harrow are also wanted to trigger the crabfall.
I can't afford Jace ATM, but I assume I'll want 4 when I can get him.
4 sakura-tribe elder will also be put in.
    What about Rite of Replication?

Basically, are there any monsters that both have high defense and force the opponent to search their library? Or spells that say something like "all players search their library for a land and play it tapped"?

Also, sanity grinding? Would a pure blue mill work? This card seems too sick to pass up.
And how about terramorphic expanse/other fetchlands?

I just want to make sure archive trap is dead the least amount of time possible.

Just realized its mill week on official site. reading up on stuff there, then reposting a new mill oriented G/U deck.
... its just a budget version of the deck posted on the official site >_> I'll test it in MWS and customise from there.

M'kay, well, I'm new to the MTG scene.
I'm 18 years old and going to UCR (shoutout to anyone else going there!) and have played Yugioh since that card game came out.

Recently, however, I got bored with YGO. This is simply because I got bored of it. I had become a Spike, and with only 3 top/playable decks in the recent formats, its gotten BLAND.
Then, one day I decided to play a game of MTG with my friends in the dorm.
They gave me an unmodified Lilianna deck, and we played 2v2. In my first game I drew lillianna near the very end, and managed to get her ultimate off, resulting in my team having a field of around 40 monsters, which swung for around 200 damage the next turn.

    I was hooked.

I am a timmy/johnny in MTG right now, and I think I'll stay that way, due to the sheer number of cards, and the fact that my friends are really creative and always making fun new decks to face off against. We play casual, so our card pool is MASSIVE.

So yeah, I'm registering here because I want to learn more about past sets and upcoming stuff so I can enhance my experience with the game.
Eventually I hope to become a "guru" and help out newbs like myself.

Well, hope to talk to you all soon. Thanks for having such a cool site.
