1500 is reasonable, IMO. It would take an enthusiastic poster (~10 per day) less than half of a year.

I believe these to be false for the most part. Akki Entrail Feaster? That name is so cumbersome and conceptually problematic that I don't suppose that it came out of the WotC design team. (Not that they don't have problems with concepts, at times, this just seems a bit extraneous.)

Actually, I do. 2 sets of stairs, 13 terraces a piece. Plus, some ladders.

I have no idea of what song you speak.

Edison: "Genius was 1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration."
Tesla: "If Mr. Edison thought a bit more, he wouldn't have to sweat so much."

The rivalry between the two is legendary amoung electricians. I've learned of them both and, inevitably, of the AC vs. DC arguments.

Tesla never left a blueprint behind, he worked with everything from his memory:
"Before I put a sketch on paper, the whole idea is worked out mentally. In my mind I change the construction, make improvements, and even operate the device. Without ever having drawn a sketch I can give the measurements of all parts to workmen, and when completed all these parts will fit, just as certainly as though I had made the actual drawings. It is immaterial to me whether I run my machine in my mind or test it in my shop. The inventions I have conceived in this way have always worked. In thirty years there has not been a single exception. My first electric motor, the vacuum wireless light, my turbine engine and many other devices have all been developed in exactly this way." - Nikola Tesla

He seems to be a prime subject for the center of a conspiracy theory.

The Wikipedia entry mentioned earlier is rather good.

Also, exactly what does Echoing Truth do in the Ravager Matchup that Oxidize wouldn't
I figure that the merit of Echoing Truth against affinity would be in the event of March of the Machines being on the board and the affinity player already having developed a good position, with multiple copies of cards. It really doesn't do anything more against affinity than Oxidize, but it isn't completely useless. It's just, Oxidize is decidedly better. I'm running both, at least until BoK, at least.

It's nothing out of the ordinary, although the quote is rather amusing. Simplicity is good.
I don't expect very much of my own signature. I have an allusion to a trumpet website, some Latin that describes my status in my school's Latin club, which I don't expect most to understand, because, well, let's face it: most people don't study classics anymore, and some personal deck related information, you decide.

I've never seen a girl playing Magic. Honest.
I have seen (and played against) a girl once or twice at a weekly, local, tournament a couple of years ago, but I can honestly say that that is the full extent of my experience with female magic players.

Interestingly enough, this was a Type I tournament....

Salutations, I am known as Macgyver - I have been a long time reader of MTG News, and with the events subsequent to New Years Day this year, I decided to join MTG Salvation though I had not been a patron of MTG News.

My history with games is lengthy, but that pertaining to Magic is with Type II from 1999 thru 2002, and with Type I from 2002 onward. I haven't had the desire to expend the funds it would take to become truly competitive on a relative level in tournament play, and I have only owned pieces of power for a matter of weeks at various times, so I would consider myself, for the most part, a casual player, as far as Type I is concerned. Anyhow, currently, I am in between things as far as my constructed format of choice is concerned, and I am sort of branching into Type II again for the first time since the Invasion block. Mostly, recently, I have been playing Kamigawa Limited and synthesising information about various metagames. I may very well become a jack of all trades eventually, indeed, I already am in the domain of analysis, however, a clear format of choice has yet to emerge from my, mostly casual, period of solely Type I play.

Ach, anyhow, I could probably ramble on for a great while, whereas my intent is just to stop by and say hello. This forum seems quite remarkable.

I suppose it might be because of the competition involved in any game. Anyhow, even if they seldom participate in Magic, they are well appreciated by those who do.

I may observe the occurances over at News from time to time, but my place is here. Rancored_Elf is truly a magician when it comes to information retrieval.
