This is simply the only place I come for any sort of Magic information, so I'm not quite sure I'll even be paying attention to Magic as much anymore after close.
Truly sorry to see this go. It is, indeed, the end of an era.

Regrowth has also been banned/restricted, and something that taps to Regrowth would be pretty saucy.
So far Commander Legends looks pretty low-key though; Baron Sengir would need to be uncommon or common to be palatable, and the new Magus might be...ok?
Still waiting for format-warping bombs or good reprints.
It looks like Bill the Cat merged with a parrot, which is...kinda cool, I guess?
One rules question though: "...number of times it has mutated," can you mutate over and over? I thought once you mutated onto a critter it was over?
Then I saw they were fetchable tricycles and I was like: "Glad I have all those Rare wildcards stored on Arena!"

My thought exactly, this is a little worrisome that Gavin needs to put himself in a card. I still don't know what he does outside of marketing, I guess?
The rest of the stuff could get pretty spicy; I'm imagining the ramping card is a critter of some sort that gets you a Plains for every counter on it.
The Chandra drop looks super sweet though, so I might pick one up if there's some cool stuff like Pyretic Ritual or other sweet Chandra cards.
I think Saffron Olive sussed out that the EV is sky high at the moment but will likely tank in a bit so...get your stuff now!
I will be jamming the Inverter combo in my Sultai dredgreless; it does not really mesh with what the deck wants to do, but if I can just do "Woops I win" and get more store credit or $, I'm ok with that.
Lotus Field is fine. You can deal with it with Damping Sphere, the new equip + Assassin's Trophy or Field of Ruin, etc.
It's a combo deck, but it is fair as far as this format goes.
Triskelion also costs 6 mana, as compared to two for Ballista, so it's unlikely to see play.
Mox Opal should have been bannend aeons ago, and this is coming from someone that really enjoyed Lantern Control; Lattice is just super uninteractive abd so is Oko, good riddance to all!

As for Recurring Nightmare being unbanned, no thanks. With the craziness coming out in the new set, along with so many ETB triggers already existing, it would just centralize games in a hurry. Yes, there's a lot of 'yard hate being played but you need to respond while RN is on the stack, right? Because then the player gets priority, returns it to hand as part of use, and even if you exile something in response they can still re-start.
As someone who used this in Duel (admittedly a format with very few tutors) to swamp Prime Time and Sundering Titan, and then moved to other utility stuff, it's just a bad feeling for the other player as well. Do not want.
